“We decided to look for a couch & Strodes came up first in our search. It's family owned, local, beautiful & comfortable furniture and home decor. We purchased a beautiful couch and ottoman. Very reasonable for such great quality. You may choose your fabric also. Dining sets in the main room, living room furniture in the room to the left & bedroom furniture in the room to the right. We'll definitely be back.”

“We went to Grand Appliance for the first time to look at washer and dryers. We were met by salesman Don Von Ebers he was very helpful in showing us all the different brands. “Ok so I purchased a mattress and box spring from Verlo 5yrs ago.. First night of the mattress I slept 10hrs straight ?...mattress was soft as butter.. Since then I've had to purchase another mattress only ..This time I needed a firm mattress and that's exactly what I got !

“We recently moved to Woodstock. I knew Donahue's had been around for many years. My husband and I stopped in to look at couches. Kaye was very helpful with my specific requests. On the showroom floor there was also a fantastically comfortable glider rocker. Over the next few days I brought sample swatches home and decided on our forever home furniture.I thought the prices for the couch, which was in stock, and two glider rockers, custom ordered, were very reasonable.Everyone we dealt with there was very professional and super friendly.Delivery was sooner than expected. Both times we had a delivery the owner himself came with another gentleman.It was a great experience all around. We felt like family.I'm very excited now to go back and check out the area rugs. I have no doubt we will be just as pleased!”

“If you find the right employee, they will make your visit worthwhile. My boyfriend and I were looking for a new sectional so we stopped at the RoomPlace. Upon first walking in, we were ambushed multiple times by the same woman. We made it very clear that if we need help we will find someone. She finally backed off and we went looking around. Brian Shay offered us help once and then walked away, giving us the space we needed. When we had questions, we were more willing to find Brian and ask him for help, as opposed to the woman who kept following us. He provided the information we needed and we went on our way. The next few days went by and I sent him an email. ON HIS DAY OFF, Brian replied to emails in a timely manner and was able to work with us to find what would get us the best deal. We really appreciate Brian's help and look forward to speaking with him again when we are ready to purchase more furniture.”
