“5 star service from Roger at Happy's tow service!!!! My daughter was driving cross country (she's a travel Nurse - and she was coming home) and hit a pot hole - bending her rim and giving her a flat tire. When Roger got there (very quickly after her call) - he saw her on the side of the road, crying because she couldn't get in touch with us. He not only got her on the road again...but he made sure she was fed. Love to Roger and his wife from me and my husband. May the universe shine it's light on you!!”

“Hy-vee gas station has the largest roller food section I've ever seen with fresh buns and pizza baked at the hy-vee grocery store deli located on the same property. They also have a very good coffee and cappuccino section serving caribou coffee brand which is an excellent brand mostly sold in shopping malls.”

“I visited on Sunday, February 16, 2025, when I was in Central Illinois for family reasons. Overall a nice gas station, calm, clean, but super crowded. Very long line for the bathroom, the bathroom is very small with only one stall and one urinal. Otherwise zero problems!”

“They have very clean showers here. The cashiers are so kind and welcoming. There’s also a Denny restaurant next door. They have a variety of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. Their diner is very clean. The waitresses there are so professional. The food is well done. I recommend all drivers and regular families to dine in at their restaurant located here. You will not be disappointed! They have restrooms available, there’s a very large drivers lounge, washers and dryers are available for $3 so if you need to wash your clothing or bed sheets while away this Flying J Travel Center is going to be your first choice! Thank you for the great hospitality.”
