“Went here to pick up a bed. With my husband and my two girls, and as soon as we walked in April had approached us. Asked her what I was trying to finance. She took me straight to the computer and pretty sure she noticed that my two little ones were gonna be a handful while I was doing my thing on the computer. So she came out and gave both my girls a coloring book and crayons. Which was so freaking nice of her To go out of her way to do that. Gave a goodie bag to the girls. I mean, she was just fantastic trying to distract my girls from destroying the place. I usually get nervous going to places like this because I do feel like my girls will break Something at some point. But she made me feel very comfortable. Help us out with every question we had. They need to give this lady a raise because she is good at what she does. April was her name.”

“I stopped by to look for a Moen kitchen faucet part after trying with no success directly through the manufacturer but they didn’t have the part on hand since it’s a older faucet and unfortunately due to the Chyna virus ordering and shipping times are drastically longer than normal but the gentleman behind the counter knew exactly what I needed and made a photocopy of the parts diagram and luckily I was able to order on Amazon and get the part the next day. They didn’t get a sale(no fault of their own) but they definitely made a client. Thanks gents!”

“Nick and Shania are amazing and deserve 1000 stars for customer service. I am a dedicated home depot shopper but sometimes things just don't go right and dont go right times 3. And when that happens it's nice to know that there are people like them that are on the customer service team to help you while you're having your meltdown. It took 3 months and 3 orders and one price change but it finally came in undamaged, and the price change honored. What can i say other than this is why i am a dedicated home depot shopper.”

“Just went browsing. Store is a super size Menards. Could use a map where things or departments are at. It has everything and seems like they have enough staff to help you out. Have a large outside yard for landscaping and construction supplies. Lard outside area for plants which is good. Put on your walking shoesAs you will need them.”

“Tom at the Lake Zurich Rental center really helped me out. I was planning on renting a sewer rodding machine because my shower was backing up. After listening to my issue tom suggested the issue was in my septic field. Turns out I took the cover off and the tank was totally full. Tom chose to help me solve my problem over the phone instead of just trying to rent me a piece of equipment. I will think of this rental department whenever I need another tool to rent. Thanks again TOM!”

“The item ordered was on back order, it would have been nice for communication to automatically come from the company regarding the status (Amazon has spoiled the consumer).When I called the CS rep was courteous and made me aware of the situation. They offered to cancel the order if I desired. I canceled the order and within minutes my method of payment was refunded.You can't ask for much more, other than a little better proactive communication.”

Well I went in a few weeks ago and walked up and down the aisles for over ten minutes seeking assistance and with no success. I did let them know at CS as I was leaving to go to Menards across the street. Well this past weekend I went back in to get more items and had such a hard time getting help AGAIN. I finally asked for a manager and I met Venus. Well this woman changed my whole outlook on personal customer care! After I explained what I needed and my previous experience she rolled up her sleeves and jumped right in to help me. She even helped me cut material for me!!!! It was Venus, Sam and Miguel who had me appreciating the customer service at this Fox Lake home depot! They over staff during the day to assist the contractors who come in, which are professionals and don't need the kind of assistance as the DIY people that come in after working hours and weekends. Home Depot maybe you can fix that. Please note the 5 star is for the amazing customer service I received from these three individuals !! I am yelling a thousand thank you' s to Venus, Sam and Miguel!!!”

“People are very helpful as well. If we have questions they’re more than willing to guide you to the right I’ll or if you’re looking for work done they also offer local services that they can give you. Most of the isles are clean and organized. The sales are always fun to look at especially for when it’s Halloween or Christmas decorations. I always enjoy getting their garden with all the different types of flowers they carry. We have a credit card with them and it’s always helped us out when we’re looking for at home projects. I was looking at all the Halloween decorations and it was so awesome and cool to see the little details. I had to take a video that way everyone can see things that they offer. There’s more decorations at the store and they also have Christmas stuff already been set up.”

“AUSTIN?? This review is long overdue??‍♂️ So to my man's Austin I apologize in advance but I do sincerely hope that you have moved on to higher and new positions. Austin was top tier. You have people who work there and people who just come to work. Well, Austin was the CEO of his own company with the innate qualities of a leader, a can do attitude, and the ability and willingness to do. I had literally watched and heard him assisting another customer. Call it weird but I mean he was handling his. business. He approached the guy in a caring but bold manner, with a confident voice and tone assuring in so many words, that he'd most certainly be able to help him. And help him he did. Had the guy out of there in no time!Well I had went to the next aisle over and was thinking to myself, "shheeesh this kid has potential to definitely be someone great. I wonder what his life is like, how he's become who he is, what exactly did he go through, and if he's put any thought into his future." Legit thoughts, and then out of the blue I hear his voice saying, "Hey do you need any help today?" Whatttt!?!? Let's be real, the average employee would've went off elsewhere to relax having filled their quota. My mans literally was looking for people to help! That's call top tier customer service. And help me he did, I was done within minutes after he helped me.HomeDepot needs more Austin's for real. That's why I'm apologizing for the lateness of this review. My visit there was in August of 2023, the weekend of the 12th. So if he's still there, a manager or HomeDepot yourself, somebody please do right by him.”
