“I was 10 mins out on my 1 hour commute to work on a Friday evening, and my car starting bumping, and my check engine light came on. OMG I had a 3 night work weekend at the hospital ahead of me and this comes up now! What am I going to do??? It was 5:03 pm. On the chance that Ken might still be there at LG Auto, I called, and he answered. I explained my dilemma, and he went above the call of duty and helped me out. He waited 10 mins for me to slowly bump my way to the shop. He gave me a loaner car (free) to use until my car got evaluated and fixed on Monday. My repair bill was $316 and I was on my way, problem free. LG auto is absolutely the best place I've ever taken my car. The service is personalized and exceptional.”
“I have taken both my SUV and my wife's minivan here. The team at D Wells are always professional and courteous. Just as importantly they are extremely knowledgeable on a consultantation level without trying to upsell you. They actually saved me money by recommending I reach out to a previous company regarding a warranty. The app they use to communicate recommended maintenance with photographs was very impressive and useful. In a world with decreasing level of customer service this organization is a breath of fresh air.”

“The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and down to earth. Can't can't afford all the repairs at one time? They'll give you a report of their inspection and prioritize which repairs or replacements need to occur, based on your budget. They'll be frank about repairs that may not have to be done immediately, and recommend when indeed your vehicle should return.I started out as a customer of the Gages Lake shop, at the time residing down the street from The Gages Lake road garage. As I have since moved further north, I now visit their Lake Villa shop; once again, thankfully being a short walk away.That said, even if I were 50 mi away I would still prefer to bring my vehicles here... They're trustworthy, competent, and practical. Heck, at both shops there have been occasions when they found less expensive ways to fix an issue and subsequently charged me LESS than their original quote... Passing on the savings to me.”

“The service was great. Rob squeezed me in not only once it twice. I had to cancel the first time because my child was sick. The heat sheld from under my car was hanging down. It needed to be clipped back in place. In and out in about 15 minutes. But not only that didn’t even charge me. What? That is absolutely unheard of. Must have know it had been a rough last couple of days, it really made my day, heck my week. Definitely going back.Service: General repairs & maintenance”

“The people who work here are all very nice and fair. Their work is fast. And up until yesterday, their prices were competitive. Management has raised the price to switch out my winter and summer tires from $30 to $85. I've bought tires and wheels here, had tires mounted, had flats fixed for over a decade. I've never seen the price for a service for a regular customer go up 280% in one year. Great experience, except for the shocking price increase.”

I love that they give the vehicles a courtesy overall check so I have peace of mind and heads up to what services I probably am going to need to budget for soon. Also they have a military discount which is icing on the cake. In the summers, my toddler and I enjoy the Dairy Queen across the street while we wait. “I had to send my wife over there for a battery installation on my truck because I was out of town. I was expecting to have to remove and clean terminals on my cables after I got back. The guys did an exceptional job, it looks like they detail cleaned it with a brush and terminal cleaner then sprayed a protectant on it afterwards. Battery is securely mounted. I will definitely return next time we need help.”
