“YinYangYogaFit is truly such a special studio. From the moment you walk in, you feel completely welcomed and supported, no matter your experience level. The classes have such a warm, calming energy that makes it easy to show up exactly as you are.

Geri, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. She is kind, attentive, and incredibly responsive, and you can tell how deeply she cares about both the studio and the people in it. Her involvement in the Lockport community is so inspiring. Through her work with the Lockport Women’s Club and the vocational program at Lockport, she helps students learn sewing skills for the C3 Artisan store, which speaks volumes about her heart and dedication to giving back.

The instructors at YinYangYogaFit are just as amazing. Every class feels welcoming and inclusive, and they are always happy to help with modifications or adjustments so everyone feels comfortable and successful in their practice. There is zero judgment and so much encouragement, which makes such a difference.

This studio is more than just a place to take a yoga class. It is a true community built on care, support, and connection. I am so grateful to have YinYangYogaFit in Lockport and cannot recommend it highly enough.”

“I’ve been a member of this gym since 2019, and it’s consistently been a place I’ve felt supported—through my 20's, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, and now motherhood. The coaches are knowledgeable and approachable, always adapting workouts to meet me where I was physically. It’s not just about fitness here; it’s about community. The friendships I’ve built have made showing up something I genuinely look forward to.

What I appreciate most is the inclusive atmosphere. You’ll find people of all ages—from teens to those in their 60s—working toward their goals in a space that feels welcoming and motivating. If you’re looking for a gym that balances challenge with camaraderie, this is the place!”

“I've been coming here for the past two months, and I'd say it's a pretty decent gym. I was definitely nervous at first since I didn't know what I was doing, but there's an app and instructions on nearly every machine that show you how to use it.
I know Planet Fitness can get a bad reputation because of the lunk alarm, but this isn't one of those locations. The gym is exceptionally clean, the staff is friendly, and nobody bothers you while you work out. It's also usually not very busy during the weekdays, and I rarely have to wait for machines. Rush hour and weekends can get pretty hectic, though, so I'd avoid working out during those times if possible.
The only downside to this location is the lack of redundancy for certain machines. I'd gladly trade some of the cardio equipment for more strength-training options. The gym could probably remove a portion of the cardio machines, which take up a lot of space, and add equipment such as a pec fly machine, preacher curl machine, tricep extension machine, and tricep pushdown machine.
If they made those additions, this would easily be a 5/5 gym.

P.s - I have yet to see one person filming their workout. So kuddos for that one.”
