“I have been a customer of West suburban Bank, and now Old Second bank for 55 years. I do my banking at the Lombard N. Main St. facility. Even though I have now moved to another town I continue to bank there because of the outstanding service I receive. I attribute this service exclusively to the excellence of its employees at that location. I have found every employee to function with patience and social grace. I don’t just use the drive-through but primarily use the lobby facility. I simply could not be more pleased. I need to be specific about an associate named Sarah. She has served me with such kindness and deliberate accuracy that I must mention her. I have used her in personal banking issues, as a Notary Republic, And as a liaison for banking issues out of state. Most recently Sarah assisted me with a credit card Problem that was causing me much anxiety. Her follow up was extraordinary. and clearly beyond her job requirement. Sarah’s performance shows maturity beyond her years. Her professionalism should be rewarded.”
“As I was driving to my office on my day off, I realized that I had a check that I kept forgetting to deposit. I passed three Wintrust locations on my way and just couldn't bring myself to pull in. There is a fourth location down the street from my office so I decided to get it done. I walked in to the Lombard location. Khalid, Elissa, and Oscar were working. In one fell swoop, they changed my bad mood to a good one. They all happily greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel like the most important customer in the world. Vinny, who wasn't working that day, treats me the same way every time she helps me. What a great staff. My transaction was done as we chatted about my grandkids and I left with a smile on my face. After being introduced to the branch manage, Jalapa Patel by Raluca, I was blown away by the level of dedication and professionalism they both demonstrated. Jalapa spent nearly two hours working through a complex issue with the fraud department, and she never once lost her composure or showed signs of frustration.
She accepted the challenge head-on and remained calm, focused, and supportive throughout the entire process. Her willingness to put in the time and effort to ensure everything was resolved truly went above and beyond my expectations. In a world where customer service can sometimes feel rushed or impersonal, this experience stood out as a reminder of what true commitment to clients looks like. Everyone at this office were outstanding and professional . Although this isn’t my local office due to the quality of customer care I don’t mind the travel to get any of my banking needs completed.
