“This Midas is AMAZING! They have kept my 21 year old Toyota Avalon on the road and in tip top shape for years! They are direct, they listen to my issues and do not pressure me to do anything unnecessary. I feel like they go out of the way on the customer service side! I have been using them for 20 plus years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. My husband and kids all go there and everyone feels that they are an honest group and it’s money well spent! Sadly, it’s not super close to my house it does take me about 20 minutes to get there but honestly I feel like it’s worth the travel time! My Midas Guys DO NOT DISAPPOINT!!”

Today i went there, they check my back right passenger tire that has giving me problem and seal it. I brought the car back a month later and they changed the tires at the quoted price. Altogether, I found Auto Lab to be transparent, honest, and professional. I’ve been a regular customer of John’s Complete Auto Service for a long time, and I can honestly say they’re one of the best shops I’ve ever worked with. I’m not an occasional walk-in—I’m a high-maintenance customer with multiple vehicles, and they’ve handled everything from mechanical issues, tire blowouts, and electrical problems to getting my A/C back up and running on a 90-degree summer day.
No matter what I bring to them, they always make it work.
They’re busy (which is a good sign), but they still treat me like my business matters. “I highly recommend this auto shop. Victor and Tony are great! They take my car in right away when I need to come in at the last minute. They always offer a ride home so I do not have to pay for an Uber. They are good about calling with updates about the car. I had just got new tires 2 weeks ago and the tire pressure light came on again. I brought it back in and after replacing one of the battery sensors, they told me it was a gift as they felt bad for missing that during the previous visit. Great staff!”

“I own a 2017 1.6 Turbo with a GDI engine, and after 60,000 miles of regular maintenance—including full-synthetic oil changes and using Shell gasoline as recommended—I found that my car required a valve and piston cleaning due to carbon buildup. Despite keeping the car clean and well-maintained, this is a common issue with GDI engines over time.
Initially, I planned to tackle this job myself, but due to time constraints and the need for an extra set of hands, I decided to look for professional help. After conducting thorough research, I discovered that Sparks in Lake Zurich offers Walnut Blasting services, which is exactly what I needed.
I reached out for an estimate, and the quote I received was both fair and transparent, especially considering the equipment and time required to effectively clean the valves and pistons. Jose Carrillo, a representative from Sparks, was particularly helpful, providing clear information on the best time to drop off my car and an estimated timeline for the service.
The communication with Sparks has been excellent so far, and although I haven’t yet had the service completed, I am already confident in this business, enough to leave a 5-star review. I will update this review once my vehicle has been serviced”
