“They are closed today 2-1-26 due to a no heat issue. Just going for a stroll and decided to stop in when I noticed the door was locked and closed sign was up. No big deal for me but if you are really counting on them being open, make other plans.”

“I came to Abarrotes for the tamales this morning and they were fresh and delicious. Both women inside greeted me immediately after I walked in with welcoming smiles. I purchased red pork tamales, the older women’s recommendation since I do not like spicy . I asked about the other tamales she sells and she was so kind she took the time to write all the tamale variations she sells. I purchased a dozen and honestly, they were the best tamales I’ve had in the past couple of years. They were moist, flavorful, packed with meat, and beautifully put together.
Before writing my review, I noticed some lower-star reviews, but my experience today was completely different — truly wonderful from start to finish.
