“Berkots has been our family go-to store for over 40 years. Back in the day there was Spieth's food store. It has been gone for years now. Berkots on the other hand is a chain store and each is run by a different Manager. The only Berkot's that has proven to be reliable is the store in Momence. The Butcher at the Momence location is exceptional skilled. There is always cut of meat out that is quality and not tanted with false coloring for quick sales. The variety of meat is beyond any other grocery store in 50 miles. The produce it alway fresh and the bakery is moving up. When you walk into a store and the floors are clean and carts are available tells you that management is doing a very good job. The staff has always been pleasant and service on spot. I pick Momence Berkots over any of the other Berkots in the area because they earned my patronship.”
