“Dependable and reliable family-owned business. I came here because I needed some jewelry repaired. I used to go to a kiosk at the mall but they shut down. My friend recommended this store and they did a nice job on my gold necklace that needed soldering. I recently brought a ring that had lost a diamond. They called me with a quote for replacement that I thought was very reasonable. They also checked the prongs and cleaned the ring. I'm very pleased because my ring had been shut away in a drawer because it needed to be repaired and now I can wear it again.This store gets very busy and the parking lot is always very crowded. Be prepared to wait. Also, some of the work is done downtown in Chicago so it can take a few weeks to receive your items. Hey, if this jewelry has been tucked away because it's broken, what's a few more weeks?I'll be back because I have several more items in need of repair.”

“This was the best experience working with Mike. I had a few designer pieces and wanted to get more value for them besides weight. I was pleasantly surprised at his quote. I also sent scrap items. It was very nice working with someone that actually does what they say. I was sent a lable for 2 day shipping. Once received I was given the quote and paid same day. I live out of state and did a little research on who has a market for what I was selling. This worked so well for me. Takes away going shop to shop to see what local jewlers will offer you. I will continue to work with Mike from here on out. I highly encourage anyone that is a little nervous about shipping items, to try it. I texted Mike to let him know when it shipped and that I saw it had been delivered. He responds and gave a time that he would let me know about each item. Again, went so much better than expected. “I purchased an engagement ring (lab grown diamond) from here and could not have been happier with the experience/result. I spent months searching both online and in store until ultimately finding DaValle. Originally, I was certain that I’d be purchasing online as the prices seemed to be much cheaper, but I was hesitant to do so as I would always prefer to see the product in person prior to spending a large amount. This all changed once I found DaValle, and specially, Jim who is one of their employees. Jim couldn’t have been better, from start to finish he ensured that everything was done exactly how I wanted. I had pretty specific needs and he went above an beyond to ensure that those were met - he also ensured that everything was done in a private manner so that my (now) fiancée had no idea that I was shopping — I.e. asking if we shared a phone/credit card so that my significant other wouldn’t see any voicemails or activity on the statement. This meant a lot as I was so caught up with engagement ring shopping that I didn’t even think of the little things and how those could ruin the surprise! On my first visit, they had a few options which fit my needs, but I wasn’t 100% sold on them and Jim was able to quickly order a multitude of diamonds that fit my requirements, which I then came in and examined with him to see what worked best for me. He was very honest and straight forward on his opinions and we were able to find one that my fiancée is beyond excited to have. In the future, I won’t even bother looking elsewhere as I know we found a reputable store that will always do the customer right - and at a price that even beat online retailers!! She designed it specifically for me and my wife, even utilizing its own curvature to shape out the first letter of our last name in beautiful fashion. I was simply blown away. Not only that, but she went way above the extra mile and got me a box to present the ring in, fitted with a small light so that the full radiance of the diamond could be shown in the crucial moment when I present the ring to my wife. My wife was simply floored when I gave it to her, and I owe that 100% to Kathy & Steven--THANK YOU!! The level of care and attention that I received, and the overall genuine concern for making this the best possible experience for me is honestly something that is, to use a phrase, as common as finding a diamond in the rough for consumers in this industry, and when you find people like that you are truly appreciative. I wanted nothing but the best to propose to my wife with, and yet was ill equipped to do that on my own. Thank god that I found & went with Steven's Jewelers! It is unquestionable that if I went to a normal jewelers, a Macys, or other kind of windowshopping that I wouldn't have gotten half the quality that I did and surely would have paid double the price. Steven went out of his way to explain to me the ins & outs of the industry, and what criterion to use to measure the quality of a diamond, in a way that no average jeweler could--or if they could, would--do.
