“Looking for a caring and honest shop, this is it! Traveling from Kentucky to Chicago yesterday, I hit what I thought it was black dirt pile of snow, it was a rock or ice, went under my car causing to break or loose something that I dragged for over 1 hour. Called at 3:30pm spoke to José, an as usual, very friendly and helpful, told me, bring it tomorrow! I did showed up, he sent a very friendly employee, Ed, super nice and polite, bent down to check and saw the reason for my dragging something. He said let me have your keys, took car in and they fixed in less than 35 minutes! They called me to get car and I couldn’t believe how fast! They said they were happy to help and hopefully will see again. “I had been without my car for 6 weeks due to my axle breaking down. I had someone from another shop install the axle and my car was still not drivable. I decided to come to Norwood Auto Service because it was down the block from me and I wouldn’t have to drive my car far. They did a full inspection on my car and sent me a text with EVERYTHING that was wrong with it along with pictures to back it up. I was so impressed by the pictures and detailed commentary. They’re not pushy at all with services which is a huge plus for me since I’m a woman who doesn’t know much about cars. They also told me that the shop that I went to put in the wrong axle for my car which is why my car was still not drivable. They were able to order the correct axle and fix my car completely SAME DAY. Mind you, Eric called me throughout the day to give me updates. Today I dropped off my Rav4 that needed 2 Tire Pressure Monitor System Sensor and an oil change to Garcia's Tire, Auto....., when I tell you this place is great, it is really Great. “We were on vacation from Savannah Georgia when our our radiator sprang a major leak! This happened around 12:00 noon. I called the nearest auto repair shop and the guys at Central Auto were able to replace our radiator and give us a tune-up all on the same day! “EDIT: I cannot thank Peter and the techs enough for the honesty, attention to detail and amazing customer service they provide. I've taken my car to Firestone, Pep Boys, Midas and a few others I cannot remember because it was that many. NONE of these places could get my alignment straight.And that's because of a one KEY inspection JUST TIRES does (especially this location) that all these other companies failed to do or pay attention to when working on my car. Not to mention all these companies, BESIDES Just Tires had no problem taking my money, knowing my alignment was still off OR sometimes even tell me that I was wrong because the calibration numbers were correct and the drift I was STILL feeling/experiencing was from "angle paved roads"...(*cought* FireStone).JUST TIRES ACTUALLY TAKES THE TIME TO LOOK AT NOT ONLY YOUR TIRES, BUT CONTROL ARMS, TIRE RODS, ETC. They actually inspect underneath your car for any minor damage or anything that could cause an alignment issue BEFORE calibrating it on a machine.Less than a year ago, I took my car to Just Tires as they seemed to actually care that I've taken my car to many other places and haven't been able to get the alignment right. I took it there, and after the techs did my alignment, they told me that the source of the issue was due to a very small bend in my left tire rod which was BARELY visable. Even when I was changing the part with my mechanic, he was surprised someone found such a small bend. After swapping the part out that Just Tires advised me to do, I took it back to their shop and Peter and his techs worked their magic and after years of my car always drifting to the right, my alignment was PERFECT. I have GTI so the steering is very tight and they absolutely nailed it. I was so elated that my alignment was FINALLY straight after all these years fixed, I actually took a joy ride on the highway, which I haven't done since my high school days.I cannot thank and recommend this place enough. They treat you like a valued customer and not a number. They actually care if the work is done properly and if there's an issue or they cannot do the job properly, they won't lie to you and take your money. They'll tell you what the problem is and even recommend the best course of action of how to get the problem fixed.My parents and four siblings all take our cars here and only here when it comes to anything Tire or alignment related.I just want to say thank you again, I feel like I finally have my car back.If I could this place 10 stars I would. Hands down best service and staff in the Chicagoland area. Both Roy and Peter in particular were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and understanding. I’ve never experienced such exceptional service anywhere before.
