“Lalo’s Body Shop has gained a new customer. I was recommended this place by a friend of mine. I went to speak with the owner regarding carpets flooding in my wife’s vehicle. He diagnosed the problem, and sent me a video of it fixed. Also cleaned and steamed her carpets. I was so impressed with the work they do in this body shop that I brought in my Pickup truck so they could fix a deep scratch on my door and bumper. The price was more than fair for the amount of labor both jobs required. The work they did was exceptional. I will recommend this place to anyone that needs body work.”

The team handled everything, including coordinating with insurance and arranging my rental car, which made an otherwise stressful situation completely hassle-free. The repairs turned out great, and I really appreciated how seamless and convenient they made the entire experience. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend!”

“Very quick and reliable service provided by Israel for the tow I needed. Within 15 minutes of calling he already showed up to start the service with his flatbed tow truck. Made sure the car was secured before departing to the destination. Once the tow was completed he had texted me that everything went well and proceeded to payment for his service. Would recommend IVM Towing! Have been using IVM Towing for a few years already and still am satisfied til today in 2026!”

“Affordable and communicative, and also maybe most importantly very fast. They knew the area and the place i dropped it off. Would definitely use these guys again. When Roadside assistance tells you 2 hours to arrive, 24 hour towing had the whole process all done in over an hour.”

“From start to finish, the experience was smooth & as painless as possible. The estimate process with Dean got the ball rolling in a positive direction. Coordinating repair dates with Sabrina, and her consistent progress updates throughout the process, all maintained the positivity. On time completion of repairs and easy pickup procedures wrapped things up in the same immensely positive manner. High quality work from somehow even higher quality people.”

They care! Stay away from the garbage CarX’s of the world and go to a place that actually has real mechanics wrenching”

“I cannot speak highly enough of Freds of Northfield, the service, the attention to detail and particularly the communication on what was happening with my vehicle was first class! I’ve been servicing cars for 35 years mostly at dealerships and in all honesty the service that Manny provides is better than any I’ve been. Will definitely e going there for all my Auto service in the future.”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Ishmael and Chicago Northwest Towing. What could have been an absolutely terrifying and overwhelming situation turned into an experience that left me feeling incredibly grateful and cared for. My car broke down in the middle of the intersection of Rush and Wabash during a downpour, surrounded by heavy traffic. I was completely stranded and honestly had no idea what I was going to do. Ishmael, who was actually off duty at the time, happened to see that I was in need of help and, out of the genuine kindness of his heart, stopped to make sure I was okay. He didn’t have to help me, but he went completely out of his way to do so. Ishmael connected me with someone from Chicago Northwest Towing, and a tow truck arrived within about 20 minutes of my call. He took the time to walk me through all of my towing options, gave me a very reasonable price, and answered every question I had with patience, clarity, professionalism, and reassurance. He made sure I understood what was happening every step of the way, which meant so much to me in such a stressful moment. Thankfully, the company also has a mechanic/body shop they work with, so I was able to have my car conveniently towed there and repaired without having to figure everything out on my own. It is genuinely rare these days to encounter a stranger who is this trustworthy, kind, genuine, and willing to step up simply because someone needs help. Ishmael was truly an answer to prayer in a moment when I felt completely stuck. What could have been a frightening and overwhelming night ended with me feeling safe, reassured, and incredibly thankful that I had crossed paths with him. This is hands down the best experience I have ever had with a towing or mechanic company. I cannot recommend Ishmael and Chicago Northwest Towing enough. Save their number in your phone—you never know when you may find yourself in an emergency and need a team you can truly rely on.”

If you don't take your car to Euro Auto of Andersonville, you are not getting the best work in Chicago. Thank you for your outstanding and Speedy work!”

“I had a great experience with Oakton Auto Body and can’t recommend them enough. I brought in an older car after scraping up the side, and I also had a few unrelated issues—a trunk that wouldn’t stay open and an A/C system that wasn’t working properly. Jay and his team took the time to look at everything and helped me get it all sorted out. What stood out most was how honest and straightforward they were throughout the process. They gave me their genuine recommendations, explained my options clearly, and never made me feel pressured into unnecessary repairs. You can tell they care about doing right by their customers, not just selling additional work. They were responsive, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. If you’re looking for a shop that treats you fairly and takes pride in their work, Oakton Auto Body is a place you can trust.”

2421 Dempster St, Evanston IL 60201
“This place is great! My tire was low on air and I was trying to find a place to fill it. They were already closed by the time I got there, and a man inside was locking up. However, when I asked him if there was another place I could go to get air, he opened the garage back up, turned on the pump, and helped me out! It was such a kind gesture, and I am truly grateful. Good people like this deserve good business! Thanks again!”
