“My wife and I had 6 financial advisors over 15 years, all of which offered only their company’s products for investment. In 2013, on a whim and with some skepticism, we attended a Steve Lewit dinner/seminar. Until that seminar, we had never heard the term “fiduciary”, much less know its meaning. Steve’s presentation sounded interesting and we decided to make an appointment with him to go over our finances. When Steve asked us our priority, we answered monthly income for retirement.
