“My wife decided that we would use the Kababs that her dad would get for special occasions during a family meal. We drove out to prospect heights from Antioch and got 4 each of the beef and chicken kababs. They were VERY pleasant and helpful. Lovely folks. The kababs were the BOMB! I grilled them per the instructions given by the people at ascot and they were tender and delicious. Definitely will visit again. Highly recommended.”
“I live about 30 min away, and not in the area often. This place is a mandatory visit for me during the holiday season, when I pick up several frozen entrees - including the pasta prosciutto and vegetable lasagna. Small place, but worth the drive. Extremely friendly staff as well.”
“I shop here for meats and sausages for the grill. Great cuts of steaks for the money. Salads from the deli are very good too. The owner is very nice and cut the meat as I asked. There still is plenty for me to try here. No complaints worth the drive! AAA+”
“The new owners did a great job reorganizing the store and getting it cleaned up. The meat and groceries are very competitively priced. Sometimes, it can be hard to get a hold of someone on the phone. They also got rid of a lot of the processed meat selection that used to be available.Note: their Sunday hours are now 10 am to 5 pm.”

“Place is OK. 2 slot inside dock can get even tighter if the first guy goes in a little cockeyed. Works more along the lines of first come first served. Don't get there too early because they will still be loading their own trucks and you'll just be wasting your time. Guys there are easy enough to work with. If it wasn't for the tight inside dock they would get 5 stars.”

“Drivers coming here to unload, best way I’ve found is to turn north on Nórdica Ave. That would be left if you are coming from Harlem Ave and then back to the side of the building. This way you have easy access to get back on to Harlem. Also they are open at 4am, but won’t unload you until the forklift drivers come. Unloading will be off the street. I hope this helps.”

“My husband and I visited our favorite store and happened upon an amazing cooking demonstration. It was such a pleasure to meet Chef Rosemary. She provided in depth insight into the entire feeezing process undertaken by her company, Wild Fork. After tasting her dish that she prepared (short ribs)we were in hook, line and sinker regarding the freezing process. The store is magnificent. We can’t wait share our experience with friends and family. Chef Rosemary shared with us that we should keep an eye out for the possibility of cooking classes being offered in the new year. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the meat I purchased was on sale and I was charged the regular price. I’m sure this was an oversight, but still should’ve not happened. I did end up getting a readjustment so they corrected their mistake.”

“The cannolis are great but the tiramisu for some reason they went away from Lady fingers into yellow cake so that's not really that great.. in my opinion it's not the same as what Grandma Caputo used to make but she spoiled me and her grandchildren. The pizza was great hot and fresh and the ladies behind the counter kept it coming. Nice clean store overall great experience and great prices. I will always come back to a Caputo's no matter where it is because I know I'm guaranteed good quality produce”
“Well done! Lots of improvements...and I didn't see any expired items...but I didn't look everywhere either. I came for Ashura...but it wasn't there. I got boza and jars of canned vegetables. Honey is $17 a jar. It's good that I bought it for 5 dollars from the company store of North Star.”

GET OFF AND CHECK SIDE CLEARANCE FOR DOORS before backing all the to dock. Take your time and you’ll do fine. Pretty quick for a full load.”
