“About as good as one can expect on Christmas Eve. Finding the entrance is neither obvious nor intuitive. The freaking 25¢ carts were really hard for my weak arthritic joints to maneuver. Typical euro market. Aldi seems to have good meat prices. Everything is neat and clean.”
“Fresh Thyme feels like a little oasis of fresh flavors and friendly faces. The store itself is beautifully laid out and well stocked, which makes strolling the aisles feel more like a treasure hunt than a chore.
A special shout-out to Assistant Store Manager Jen. She wasn’t just helpful, she was delightfully engaged. She guided me right to the items I needed and even tossed in creative recipe ideas.

“When I was in Naperville last week, I went inside this Aldi Store & I was so in awe with the aesthetic of it & the products that they sold at this location. “The awareness of the needs of handicapped people at this store needs to be improved.I shopped the flower tent today. Do it every year. Typically there is a cashier. Not today. As a disabled person. I had to use a cart and walk with it. Sounds normal, right? Its not my norm. I typically ride one of the electric scotters but, not avail in the flower tent. Sk I had to walk uphill (very difficult for heart patients) through the store and check out on my weak legs and heart.”
“Surprisingly I'm a big fan of the smart carts. Prices were pretty reasonable. Love that they have kid carts as well as free fruit for the kids. Still hard to justify stopping here over a local place though.”

“Jewel is known for being pricy. It took a while to get their pint ice cream freezer fixed afterthought floods a week ago. Most things I purchase at Woodmans but meat and produce I buy at this Jewel. Again if you use the digital deals it helps a big deal except I don't purchase most of the offerings.”

“Great international food selections, great salat bar, and now offers Starbucks coffee. A nice produce selection, nice presentation, a great cheese selection, and a great selection of wines. There are also places to sit and chat, eat, or just enjoying the ambiance.
I'm not sure if they still have a wine bar, of a great candy and nut bars. Overall, Mariano's has that upscale feeling, but, still feels like a comfortable place to shop.”
“During fall and wintertime, I usually shop a couple times a week picking up the hot deli chicken noodle soup, which seems to be one of your better selling soups. It is delicious but most of the time I have to almost empty the kettle into one large container. By the time I’m finished, their’s not enough soup for the next customer. A few times when the kettle is completely empty, I’ll ask one of your deli personnel to please refill it, which sometimes takes a few minutes, or they will direct me to your prepackaged cold containers in the refrigerator, but I would prefer the hot soup in the kettle. I have noticed your deli personnel checking the temperatures of the kettles, but if they could also make an extra effort to refresh the chicken noodle soup more often, it would be appreciated. Thanks, and your cashiers are awesome.”
