“This is our second year back with Emily at One Strange Bird booking a Galentine’s day linocut card making class. Our group had SUCH a fun time hanging out making our custom cards. Emily is great with providing instructions and one on one help to ensure everyone is confident in their carving and printing skills. We were all so happy with our final prints! Simba the cutest dog was also a happy helper hanging out with us during our class. We will be back next year for round 3! Can’t recommend this shop and workshop enough!”

“Highly recommend this place! Went looking for a souvenir and had a very pleasant experience, not your typical souvenir shop that everything looks cheaply made. And very reasonably priced too.
The owner was there, she told us about the artists behind the illustrations they have and she was very nice. They feature local artists and lots of them are actually from the neighborhood.

“This is such a fun store!! Every single surface (excluding the walking path on the floor but including the ceiling) is covered in fun things to buy! They have rugs, cookware, art, jewelry, hats, pins, lotion, stickers, and more! It was so entertaining to take my time and walk through what used to be an old house and find so many trinkets to take home. The rugs really caught my eye! They have fair prices for the pieces they sell and unique items for everyone. I could be in there all day and still want more time to explore! It’s next to lots of food places too so you can refuel for your adventure here too. Check it out!!”

“A very cute, locally owned, and affordable floral shop! The owners are very kind and always greet me as I walk in, asking me if I need help with anything. They also sell gifting supplies like balloons, ribbons, and other party favors which is great especially during Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and birthdays. The wares in the store are really good gifts to yourself or to anyone who has an artistic soul. Last time I was there, there were eye-catching denim jackets with painted backs and dresses in really interesting prints. People should just hang out there.”

“I would caution against letting this store gift wrap when they’re busy. The ornament I bought was broken on the corner when the recipient opened the gift. Of course she was too gracious to let me take it back since she really loved the ornament and chose to hang it broken. Better to take it and wrap it properly yourself.Update: 5 stars! The ornament was replaced and sent to the receiver. And the communication was excellent. They even corrected my mistake when I transposed the address. Thanks for great customer service!”
