“My first time at Bon Femmes was for an earring making workshop which ended with a chance to visit the shop afterwards. I cannot properly put into words the wonderful energy the shop owner radiates. Not only are they welcoming, funny, and kind but you can immediately tell how thoughtfully currated the shop is. From products to workshops, it is clear Bon Femmes is intentional and a place striving to build community. I cannot reccomend this shop (or the workshops!) enough.
The website is user friendly and easy to view the kind of inventory that is stocked in the shop but I just wanted to highlight that I was able to purchase a very fun cat themed magazine, washi tape, and some excellent quality fingernail stickers!”

“This is one of Chicago’s hidden treasures! We’ve ordered custom tees from Rep Chi numerous times through the years and they never disappoint. They also offer many products that are locally sourced from candles to scented oils, you name it.
Plus, Marian is a wonderful human being and always a joy to work with. I can’t recommend them enough.”
“This is our second year back with Emily at One Strange Bird booking a Galentine’s day linocut card making class. Our group had SUCH a fun time hanging out making our custom cards. Emily is great with providing instructions and one on one help to ensure everyone is confident in their carving and printing skills. We were all so happy with our final prints! Simba the cutest dog was also a happy helper hanging out with us during our class. We will be back next year for round 3! Can’t recommend this shop and workshop enough!”

“This is such a fun store!! Every single surface (excluding the walking path on the floor but including the ceiling) is covered in fun things to buy! They have rugs, cookware, art, jewelry, hats, pins, lotion, stickers, and more! It was so entertaining to take my time and walk through what used to be an old house and find so many trinkets to take home. The rugs really caught my eye! They have fair prices for the pieces they sell and unique items for everyone. I could be in there all day and still want more time to explore! It’s next to lots of food places too so you can refuel for your adventure here too. Check it out!!”

“A very cute, locally owned, and affordable floral shop! The owners are very kind and always greet me as I walk in, asking me if I need help with anything. They also sell gifting supplies like balloons, ribbons, and other party favors which is great especially during Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and birthdays. “This is a really vibey art gallery, store, and community space. People who live on the Blue Line can and should come to their shows. Seeing the results of local artists' practice is ? Obviously, you can buy your favorites.
The wares in the store are really good gifts to yourself or to anyone who has an artistic soul. Last time I was there, there were eye-catching denim jackets with painted backs and dresses in really interesting prints. People should just hang out there.”

“I would caution against letting this store gift wrap when they’re busy. The ornament I bought was broken on the corner when the recipient opened the gift. Of course she was too gracious to let me take it back since she really loved the ornament and chose to hang it broken. Better to take it and wrap it properly yourself.Update: 5 stars! The ornament was replaced and sent to the receiver. And the communication was excellent. They even corrected my mistake when I transposed the address. Thanks for great customer service!”

(My only critique is that the lighter colors are a liiiiittle bit sheer). I love putting my Hand Painted Ponnornament on our tree every year, and now I get to carry a Ponnopozz design everywhere I go with my robustly constructed canvas Standard Tote in Lilac.
