“They have good selection of meats from chicken, goat, chicken liver, mutton liver, mutton legs, etc. The baby goat meat seems to be bit pricy compared to other shops in other Indian areas. Overall you will find good meat here.”
“I’ve been shooting at that store more than 10 years and I love it now I would like to share my experience it’s such an amazing one stop to shop they have everything from the Middle East and more their price very reasonable compared to other places everything fresh the store very clean. The owner are wonderful. I recommend everybody to visit a shop from there.i wish Google has more than 5 starts but I will throw another 5 starts from me as a chef thanks allot brother’s grocery store”
“First time visit to Joseph’s. I purchased their mild & hot sausage along with prosciutto di parma. The older gentleman who took my order was patient and kind despite me coming in a few minutes before closing on a Friday.
I highly recommend Joseph’s, their sausage was so delicious and not salty as many other places are. They are pricer than other locations however it is worth it to support a small business and their high quality meats.
I’m looking forward to returning and being a regular customer.
Thank you
-Giovanna”
“I’m so so happy I came across Carnicería Ruiz. I was looking for a Mexican goods store that wasn’t too far from Logan Square, and they blew me away! This cozy market is well-stocked with dry/pantry goods, imported Mexican products, fresh produce and an excellent meat and cheese counter. They even have carne seca! (A healthier and honestly tastier alternative for beef jerky fans. It’s just meat dried in the sun with salt and that’s it, no other ingredients) I HIGHLY recommend you visit on the weekends too, when they have homemade: barbacoa, carnitas, and menudo. I just bought 2 lbs of barbacoa so I could make it into meals over the week, ~that’s how good it is. The people that work there are always knowledgeable and friendly. This is a lovely establishment, I can’t wait to go back for some menudo!”
“Ascot's is a great place!! The meats are great, really fresh and flavorful! The staff are very sweet and knowledgeable. If you have any questions about the product you're purchasing, they will provide helpful information. Overall, stupendous establishment!!”
“I love shopping at harvesTime! It is the perfect sized grocery store -- you can be in a and out with what you need fairly quickly. I especially appreciate their freshly baked European style breads and fresh pastries. We typically pick up a spinach spanakopita when we stop in! They also have some unique local items sprinkled throughout the store. Meat from local farms, micro greens, tea blends, chili oil to name a couple. This fits with their ethos as a local independent grocery store.”
“Good selection of less-common meats and cuts (e.g. lamb shanks, duck, ground venison are things I've found there) at reasonable prices. It's a good middle ground between the grocery store and specialty butcher.”
“$12.99 for quite possibly the best corned beef sandwich in Chicago....YES PLEASE....my mouth is watering just describing the amazing quality and experience this Sammie has....Eat Local is a local Chicago food review channel on YouTube and these 2 guys, Sean Ely and Corey Wagner are right, this is an unexpected taste explosion....definitely a huge must visit recommendation.....enjoy PEEPS and also, everything on the menu is probably A1 TOP NOTCH as well”
“Consistently quality all natural meats and seafood. Great takeout menu, best burger in Chicagoland.
Ended the curse of the Billy goat ensuring the 2016 Chicago Cubs Worlds Series victory. Those other guys brought a live goat to break the curse. These fellows at Carnivore killed the f'ing goat.

“Best kosher butcher in Illinois and probably the entire Midwest. They also sell chopped liver, potato salad, coleslaw, kishka and more. They'll make you a coldcut sandwich on rye. They have a selection of various hot dogs and sausages. They're famous for their salami. Friendly people. Very old school place. It's like walking into a store from the 50s, which it is.”
“EVERYTHING is and always has been outstanding … Try the London Broil “cuts” they melt in your mouth …
Made on the grill, then untied them and tossed w fresh grilled asparagus and goat cheese … AMAZING”
“If you’re looking for the best ham in Chicago, you have to visit Kurowski Sausage Shop. This place is an absolute gem for anyone who loves high-quality, smoked meats.
Their ham is hands down some of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, tender, and full of that rich, smoky flavor that only comes from doing things the traditional way. You can truly taste the care and craftsmanship in every slice. They smoke their meats on-site, and it makes all the difference.
I’ve also tried their kielbasa and turkey, and both were incredibly delicious. The kielbasa has that authentic snap and deep flavor, and the smoked turkey is juicy and packed with taste. And don’t even get me started on the bacon — anything they smoke is absolutely amazing. The bacon is smoky, savory, and unforgettable.
On top of their meats, their homemade soups are fantastic. You can tell everything is made with quality ingredients and old-school recipes.
If you’re in Chicago and appreciate real, traditional smoked meats, Kurowski Sausage Shop is a must-visit. Great food, great quality, and a true neighborhood treasure.”
“I absolutely love this place. In a world where everything is poison and toxic... its nice to know I'm eating meat that is sourced from farmers and healthy! I come here once every two months and stock up on some meat and bones. Highly recommend you at least check this place out!”

“Place is OK. 2 slot inside dock can get even tighter if the first guy goes in a little cockeyed. Works more along the lines of first come first served. Don't get there too early because they will still be loading their own trucks and you'll just be wasting your time. Guys there are easy enough to work with. If it wasn't for the tight inside dock they would get 5 stars.”
“Great place to get your favorite meats and not only. They have a nice variety of smoked meat, smoked sausage and even sweets. The owners always greet you with a smile on their face and it's always a pleasure to stop by. And BTW, they also deliver and ship cross country. I highly recommend Saravale Meat Market”
“Amazing factory store of Polish meats, deli, and sausage. Everything at discounted factory prices. Very very fresh. On the weekend you can also get things such as condiments, fresh bread, and sweets.”
“This place is amazing! It's mainly Mexican style food. They have a hot food bar. They put it out "Fresh Everyday". If they fill up the food bar at 10am- by 1:30pm. Its only scrapes left because the food on is OMG, good food, very fair portions, and the price is right! Looking forward to returning for a few items.”

“?My Friends From CTA & I Genuinely Miss Their Awesomely Great Bobak’s Grocery Store Which Was Located On Archer.
When I work for CTA Archer Garage, we go there for lunch even on our own non-working days Because ?They Had The Best Polish Food EVER (In Small Cafe/Restaurant Located Inside Grocery Store Too)! All their sausage and food items are always totally fresh and delicious!!!? ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”
“The absolute BEST hummus. The pita bread is fresh and comes in a large quantity. However, they run out kind of early.
I bought the chocolate rolls that were absolutely delicious. They'd be great with cinnamon, too.”

“The new owners did a great job reorganizing the store and getting it cleaned up. The meat and groceries are very competitively priced. Sometimes, it can be hard to get a hold of someone on the phone. They also got rid of a lot of the processed meat selection that used to be available.Note: their Sunday hours are now 10 am to 5 pm.”
