“Wissanee (one of the owners) was super kind and helpful. Such a bright and light human being. I went with my friend and her energy was just absolutely wonderful. She is so genuine and the store is beautiful as well. Will 100% be back at AMADARA soon. Truly worth it.”
“I love this store. I think curation is thoughtfully done. The prices vary so there’s “something for everyone.” You can tell they care about the details. It’s very neighborhood friendly too which is a nice touch. I hope more people continue to cross paths with this little store especially now that they have a bigger space! Very exciting. Also there’s a lot of women made things in the store- noticeably a women supporting women kind of business ? they also have some amenity items ive never seen in the US and am so grateful they carry.”
“Jenny & Kevin were a delight to work with and they helped us with the design and made sure we got the award on time. They had very nice pieces to choose from and we would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.”
“Very cool items because it reminds me of a much simpler time from me growing up 60's-70's. Need more places like this nowadays. Staff was A-1 and owners were way cool.I shall be back in the near future. May God watch over them with their journey in life. ✌️✊️”
“Business owner Anita and her family stopped by our dealership last week and took delivery of a brand new Grecale! They personally delivered this wonderful edible arrangement - WOW! A fantastic business owner, we appreciate her being a loyal customer going above and beyond.
Thank you from Napleton Aston Martin Maserati of Downers Grove!”

“super cute store and the employee working was so much fun to talk to. was great visiting from atlanta and was excited to stumble upon this place. she recommended us going to an oddities store right down the street when we were leaving, and that place was super cool too!”
“There are a lot of cute shops in Lincoln Square, but this one is my faaaaavorite. It’s a little further south on Lincoln (near the Davis). I love all the local art.”
“This store of edible arrangements was wonderful! The driver patiently waited for me to come down and pick up my beautiful fruit tray. The fruit was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this store!”
“Highly recommend this place! Went looking for a souvenir and had a very pleasant experience, not your typical souvenir shop that everything looks cheaply made. And very reasonably priced too.
The owner was there, she told us about the artists behind the illustrations they have and she was very nice. They feature local artists and lots of them are actually from the neighborhood.
They wrapped our gift free of charge.”
“My favorite smoke shop! The owner is the best. She's super sweet and very helpful. I go here for all my smoke stuff. Very unique and beautiful selection of pipes and accessories. Great place for gifts.”
“I was kind of going between 4 and 5 stars, but thought to bump it up to a 5 because its a small business and exactly the kind of store you want in your community. The basic premise is that its a store that showcases Chicago based items and Chicago based companies. I really like it because its a great place to buy a unique gift for somebody. I would say most of the items lean towards "home goods", but if you ever need something for a housewarming party or need that last minute birthday gift, this place has you covered. If there is any "downside" is that their items tend to be a little bit on the expensive side. That really shouldn't be surprising as it is a small business supporting other small businesses. I also wish they had wider hours, but the foot traffic might not call for it. If you are looking for a cool Chicago gift for yourself or somebody else, I would highly recommend checking this place out! They are very nice and have some really good finds!”

“Christmas is here at Scratch N sniff. Visit and get all the sweet things for your family and friends. Christmas is around the corner and you don't want to be caught giftless. They have all you need for all ages, friends and family.”
“CarefulPeach is an absolute gem in downtown Oak Park! This cute store is a must-visit for anyone in the area. They have everything from French-inspired items to an impressive selection of wines. It has quickly become one of our favorite spots, especially for their fantastic holiday decorations. The selection is always unique and delightful, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a charming and enjoyable shopping experience, CarefulPeach is the place to go!”
“I recently visited this establishment the Elmhurst location and the service was excellent! The young lady Amy was there to help me every step of the way!! I came in unsure of what I wanted and she helped and guided me with buying the most beautiful arrangement. Everything was fresh, neat and beautiful as I needed it to be. My boyfriend absolutely loved it, he said it was amazing and so good and that’s all I wanted…mission accomplished!! If you’re ever in the area please stop in and ask for Amy she’s patient friendly and caring!!! Thank you so much for making this worthwhile will be back for future arrangements!!!”
“Got a custom bouquet here for a wake I was attending. They did an amazing job and allowed me to see how different flowers/ colors would look. I’ll definitely be coming back next time I need flowers!”
“One of my absolute favorite shops in Logan Square! I stop in fairly frequently and love seeing the new things- the shop is always so well curated! The owner is so sweet and welcoming, doesn’t matter if it’s a busy or quiet day. Great shop for gifts or for finding a treat for yourself- my favorite sections to check are the hair accessories, pots and vases for plants, and the art prints”
“Loved this place! Wanted to get some Chicago stuff while visiting, for friends. They have so many nice stuff - pictures, planters, clothes, games and other gifts. Ended up buying a couple of Chicago posters, a tote bag, and a T-shirt. The unisex tshirts are tricky in size, just fyi.”

“Today was our first visit and loved browsing all the items and deciding what we wanted. Very nice selection of books at a very reasonable price. Picked up some mala beads (very reasonably priced), can always use more incense:). A nice beginners sized sound bowl for a nice price as well. We will definitely be back!!! Tashi was very accommodating.”
“This place is amazing last Easter I they helped me put together some baskets for the kids and did an amazing job matching my price point that I was looking for with some amazing things. Looking to hit them up again for some Halloween gift ideas. Totally recommend this gem of a place.”
“Stumbled into this place totally by accident, while walking around the Pickwick building. What a beautiful shop! Needless to say, I didn't walk out empty-handed! Great little trinkets.”
“Alioto's is the finest example of a local boutique, run by an industry expert on fine tableware and home furnishings. This local gem is a source for referrals and services needed for antique restoration, silver and crystal pieces as well. The owner's customer service is unprecedented. Also, advice on wedding registry is outstanding.”
“Everyone needs a cigar now and then, if so this is definitely a place in the western suburbs you should check out. Behind the very ordinary exterior resides a fantastic humidor. There selection is next to none and carries a range that should satisfy your smoking needs . Their prices are fair and much lower than most cigar stores in the area. As an example I will use la Gloria Cubana Series R # 7. This is my personal favorite. Most cigar stores charge up to $12.99 a stick. This store carries them at $8.99 a stick. If you buy them online in a box you can get that down to around $7, but you must pay shipping. So their pricing is good if you need a couple of cigars for golfing , card game or party. This is a friendly store and they also carry lighters, fuel and cigarettes. The store is several blocks west of York road on Irving Park road in Bensenville. Give them a try, you will be glad you did!”
“I was impressed with the unusual mostly vintage furnishings. The quality of fabrics and workmanship of the clothing and accessories was magnificent. I bought an assortment of incense on this first visit (unplanned) as I tried not to take home pieces I didn't have space to house. The service was welcoming and friendly. I'll visit again and again.”
“This is one of my favorite stores. There is a ton of unique jewelry and home goods here, and the prices are reasonable. All the items are beautifully handmade and I love supporting Ten Thousand Villages' Fair Trade mission.”
“Staff is eager to help and extensively knowledgable on what they offer. Unique, elevated merch with lovely designs. Pins, plushes, and stickers are good, but I especially love their novelty items like their character blankets, kitchen sets, and loungefly bags.”
