“We held our wedding this past Friday 03/15 at Ovation Chicago and could not have been any more happier!On April 24, 2018, 6 years ago, I screenshot a post from Ovation Chicago on instagram and knew I wanted to had to get married there one day. This was 3 years before I even met my husband. Fast forward to March 2024 and we had our dream wedding.Spencer and his entire team were beyond helpful, organized, and very patient throughout the entire process. The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. Our entire vision was exactly what we imagined and couldn't be more grateful. Even several days later, we are still getting compliments on how much fun our guests had! “The Taíno exhibit is excellently curated. I appreciate how they are able to connect common phrases with the culture of the indigenous people. I never fully appreciated the impact that the indigenous people had to Puerto Rico until I saw this exhibit. Furthermore, I love the installations outside, and Boricua who has been to the island will immediately recognize the CouQui sounds playing from the speakers. I also appreciated the staff, especially the director of development. She was so knowledgeable and had such passion for art and Puerto Rican culture. Please give her a raise.”
“Regardless of a few negatives (an hour wait for a lane and lots of food items were unavailable). It was a GREAT time!The counter clerk was helpful in getting us the best deal for our games. The cashier/ server was gracious and helpful in working on getting us a drink/ food deal based on available product.They were both knowledgeable and helpful!Some of the best service I've had in a long time.Also had lots of issues with our lane/pins/ball return and they switched us as soon as possible. ☺We also got 100 arcade credits for only $30 and that lasted the almost hour wait for a lane and then a good 20 minutes after we were done bowling!Games are 1-5 credits (not bad! My favorite, skeeball was only 1 credit! )And there were lots of cool prizes too!I got a purple teddy bear with a lime green bowlero shirt for only 1000 tickets! (His name is Benny ?)About $200 spent on a family of 4 and that included unlimited bowling- (we played 3 games), 6 long Island ice teas, appetizer/ beer special and 100 arcade credits!My 11 & 4 yr old boys had so much fun- but I think my partner and I had MORE fun! ♥TOTALLY WORTH IT!10/10I would go back again and recommend to everyone!Great service. Good food/drinks. Good atmosphere. Decent prices!”

“We visited here as it was on the Frank Lloyd Wright map, and although he wasn't the architect, we were still interested to see the work of one of his contemporaries. We were greeted by Theresa, who took us on a tour of the whole house which lasted around an hour and a half. Theresa was so lovely and it was an absolute pleasure to meet and be guided by her. She was so knowledgeable about the house and the families who had lived there, and my partner and I walked away feeling like we had learned so much. The house itself is full of surprises and interesting quirks, and Theresa did a brilliant job of bringing it to life for us. We absolutely loved our time there, but also feel sad that a house of such historical importance isn't receiving the funding needed to fully restore it. I really recommend taking this tour, as not only will you enjoy learning about this amazing house, you will also be helping to preserve its place in history.”

“If you need to get out the house and work elsewhere this is the place to go!! Their drinks are strong and tasty and they have seasonal drinks as well! What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! It's just a nice industrial space that anyone would like to hang out at!!”

“I can only comment from the perspective of being a guest at a party (well my kid was).The biggest takeaway was "Wow! That seemed so easy.'"It had all the charm of the at home personalized parties I attended as a child (that I don't have the room to recreate in a city house) mixed with the organization and experience of professionals who are used to hosting gatherings of children.I've been to other spaces that did an ok job, but it felt like we were on a party conveyer belt and the staff was just counting down the moments until they could leave. Purple Monkey Playroom was the opposite. It was structured, but not oppressively so. The employee seemed like she was honestly invested in the event running smoothly and everyone having a good time.Total win/win situation.The kids had fun, the hostess had fun, the other parents had fun!This is where I will go for our next party!”

“We had our wedding there on 01.26.2024 at 07:00 PM. The event was phenomenal, and the staff were amazing. We were so stressed about the wedding, and we had many happy and sad moments. Jose and his team supported us in getting our cake, decorating the place (picking out our colors), and having everyone set up accordingly (our vendors included).The staff was amazing, and the setup was awesome! Payments were smooth and very streamlined, and we liked the reminders because they kept us on track to ensure we had everything paid off before the event. The food was delicious, and both our families were happy about the food. We had sweets brought out after the food and that was awesome. The venue was very clean, and the place was organized.The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful with the drinks and for those that were too intoxicated during our wedding, the bartenders were quick to cut them off and offer water instead. The servers were professional, and everyone was kind and friendly! Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding! We were happy that you could share this moment with us!”
“Very clean banquet hall and washrooms, beautiful decor, great customer service. Food was good. Food presentation beautiful. The Prime Rib was tender but a little bland. Drinks were very weak. I would attend or host an event there again.”

We’ve been bringing our daughter here full time since she was 3 months old and it has been exactly what we’ve wanted and needed for childcare as two remote-working professionals and as someone who was exclusively breastfeeding. The playmakers are so great with the kids, my daughter lights up when she sees them every morning. The space is clean and inviting; it truly feels like a second home to us! A great little community of parents as well!”
