A young man took the watch to the jewelry to see if it might be the battery —he returned with a working watch and handed it to me. I happily got my card out to pay and he said that it was a gift to me —that it was a pleasure to see inside the vintage watch —and to please return again. “read about a basement sale, thought I'd stop in. bunch of quirky used fixtures and such in the back and checked out the front of the store, chock full of doo dads, what nots and such and such. nice assortment of stylish and artsy stationery items with the modern woman in mind. staff was welcoming, greeted me and asked to help. told the young lady I was looking for "cute stuff" (from their advertising slogan) and we shared a laugh. nice little spot to browse and find what you're not looking for.”

“I’ve visited several coin shops throughout Illinois, and this is easily one of my favorites. I had the pleasure of meeting Sherrie, and she was outstanding—kind, honest, knowledgeable, and friendly. I also met an older gentleman there who was equally welcoming and even recognized some of the other coin shops I’ve visited.
I honestly don’t understand many of the negative reviews. At the end of the day, a coin shop is a business. They can’t pay above spot price simply because someone overpaid for a commemorative piece made of precious metals. Sherrie was straightforward and transparent with customers, which is exactly what you want from a reputable dealer. While I was there, I even saw someone bring in a fake chain, and she handled the situation honestly and professionally.
The entire experience was pleasant from start to finish. It’s refreshing to find people who are genuine, knowledgeable, and willing to tell you the truth, even when it may not be what you want to hear. That level of honesty is becoming increasingly rare.
I highly recommend this shop and will absolutely return whenever I’m in the area.”
