The Economy Shop is a volunteer-run thrift store located in an old Victorian mansion. It supports several local charities. The shop is only open for a few limited days each month, so planning a visit is essential. Each room in the three-story house features a different kind of merchandise, creating a real treasure hunt. Shoppers can find a great selection of second-hand items, including antiques, clothes, shoes, jewelry, books, craft supplies, and kitchenware, all for good prices. There are often 50% off deals in several rooms. The helpful volunteers are friendly and make shopping a blast. However, there is no air conditioning, so it can get hot. The building has narrow stairs and pathways, which can be crowded and may pose challenges for those with mobility issues or small children. It is recommended to go first thing when they open, as the best deals move fast.
A worthy charity and my favorite thrift shop for clothing and housewares. Prices are very reasonable and you never know what you’ll find. They no longer sell furniture but decades ago I scored big time on a piece of Western Shaker. If you’re there early enough you too might find an antique treasure.

Such a fun place to shop. I love that the items are organized by room. The staff were so friendly and helpful! Found a cute new pair of shorts that seemed barely worn and an unopened Bosu ball! It truly was the happiest and most organized thrift store I’ve ever been to.

Amazing place. Great selection and usually many options for everything. Helpful volunteers. I've gone many times and always find treasure.
