“The call center grossly messed up on the type of unit I needed. I asked was he the manager of the 9800 S. Harlem location and he said yes but truly he was only the call centerI told him exactly what I needed and he gave me an extra large one the manager of 22 years here at the 9800 S. Harlem location fixed my problem and instantly provided us with the correct size.”

Update:Nique is still one of the best employees that they have,a manager calls me 5 mins ago to basically verbally tell me why I keep getting an increase on rent on a place of business that doesn’t need upgrades or anything done to specific unit and mentioned market rate and competitive pricing and I simply mentioned his competitors are charging me lesser for the same unit but he definitely didn’t offer to match it if that’s the excuse we are using to keep price gouging on a standstill place that needs nothing or justifys the comp of keep raising the rent on a unit I’ve kept for years….the storage game is becoming like the insurance game…my social media outlets reach close to 100,000 followers in total combined and I wonder which one can point me to a place that isn’t gonna keep almost doubling the price on a stand still product and keeps its rates locked in,I can work the system by simply moving out and renting another unit online but who has the time to keep moving”

“This was my first time using a storage facility. I reached out to a couple for pricing but they were higher than I could afford. I walked into SmartStop and was greeted by Eric. Eric was very patient, professional and knowledgeable. The price was affordable and i even received the promotional price which was even better. He made me feel at ease with storing my belongings. “Never have rented a storage facility, but this public storage location made it very easy and simple. Reserved a unit online and then was promptly reached out to by one of their staff , Jennifer was great on the phone. Helpful and patient answering many questions. We wanted to see the facilities and the unit before we committed so she easily made us an appointment for Saturday at noon to meet up. Jennifer was SO NICE in person. Walked us to our storage unit and gave us information along the way… She answered all of our questions sincerely and honestly… She offered some tips based on her experience Which were very helpful, things that we had not thought of. She really took all the difficulty and anxiety out of the situation for us and we felt super comfortable. Jennifer is a true asset to public storage and I would highly recommend their facility in country club Hills Illinois. She truly earned our business with her fantastic customer service and personality and professionalism.”

“We rented this facility early December 2025 and were able to take advantage of a deal they had for the Christmas season (3 months 50% off). It was a killer deal for sure! Tomorrow will be January 2026 and thus far we have had superb experiences with this location. Shelley (I think I got her name right) has been at the office, and she texts and/or emails me as needed when I have questions or need anything regarding my unit.
Location: It's in a more remote section if Orland Park, but still close enough to the busier side of Orland.
Cleanliness: we have zero complaints about the hygiene of the facility. Always appears clean. Supposedly they spray for pests on a regular basis, so I trust that's part of their integrity
Overall: Great experience. Staff has been great. We got the smaller unit and are now at capacity, as we are trying to move asap. It's been a great help. We pull into the garage EVERY TIME we come drop off items and we pull both of our trucks into the garage to unload. I love that it is temperature controlled (out storage is indoors). They allow you to waive their insurance if you have coverage with your home owners insurance (we did that and showed proof and the process was seamless.) you can also return the lock they provide you if you have your own (they will refund you the $16). GREAT EXPERIENCE. we hope to be done with storagemart before February ends, so we are grateful to Jesus to be able to declutter so we can sell our current house while also searching to buy. Great jobs ladies and gents. Happy New Year! ????”
