I brought my 2005 Honda Odyssey to Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center in Orland Park after dealing with a frustrating electrical issue. The vehicle was showing a PCM-related error, and I was concerned that I might be facing a very expensive computer replacement.
I spoke with James, the owner, and James was the technician who worked on the van. They took the time to listen carefully to everything I had been experiencing—including the dashboard lights flickering and the radio restarting when I went over certain bumps. Rather than simply replacing the PCM based on the error code, they performed a thorough electrical diagnosis to determine what was actually causing the problem.
In the end, they discovered that the positive battery cable was loose at the opposite end from the battery post, causing the vehicle to momentarily lose power over certain bumps and triggering the PCM-related error.
I really appreciate the Tuffy team taking the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of recommending an expensive repair that the vehicle didn't need. Their care, thoroughness, integrity, and honesty were greatly appreciated.

“After a breakdown last winter and tow to my usual mechanic, I was told I needed a new engine but they didn't do that level of work there. I found Cooper after a bit of research and am so happy I did. They promptly inspected the vehicle, laid out my options, and gave me an estimate. It did take a while waiting on parts to arrive, but the staff communicated well when I checked in and followed up to let me know the status. Once parts arrived, work was completed sooner than predicted. The car has been running seamlessly ever since. I would definitely recommend.”

“Unfortunately, I've had multiple body repair requirements through the years. Fortunately, I found Crash Champions to do those repairs. I trust them to perform outstanding work at a fair and reasonable price. I've used Crash Champions for well over 10 years now. (I left similar reviews for other locations; this one is specific to the Orland Park facility as I don't recall them being here in 2019, my last repair event.)
Crash Champions service is outstanding in every way, from repair quality, price, insurance claims facilitation - all done impeccably. Mike (my claims adjuster) and Eric (manager) were outstanding in every way and very customer focused. The repair workmanship was first rate, second to none. Finally, I thank them for making my claims process as painless as possible. Kudos to these guys, though I hope I don;t have to come back and see them too soon. ;-P”
