“I went to Lowe’s in Orland Park seeking help to get a screen door installed. I had had a bad experience with a Home Depot installation I was scheduled to receive. Fortunately, I met a salesperson named Katy Sandusky, I told her my experience and she made us her special project, went out of here way and above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied customers, (even gave us her special project a name). She was absolutely fantastic!!! Her customer service was superb!! We hit it off immediately!! I told her how important it was for my mom to get this done since she waited so long for Home Depot to get back to her. It took one day to get someone to come out and measure and the third day to get an install. By the following week we had a new door! My mom was so pleased with her and how promptly she made everything happen she had me get on google to share our experience, I gladly obliged!! Thanks Katy for your extra special professionalism, spunky personality and amazing customer service!! We wish we could have gave our experience 10 stars because you were just that great!!???”

“I drove to the New Lenox location as they had the option of lighting I wanted in stock. Upon entering the store every associate I walked passed smiled and said “hello” which was a pleasant change of pace from other stores. The lighting was not in the correct spot on the shelf so Mark and Gale both assisted with bringing over the ladders. You know when you go somewhere and the associates moan and groan in front of customers because something is not in the right spot and now the associate has to actually do work? Almost as if it was the customers fault that items were incorrectly placed. Well that was not the case. Gale and Mark were professional and wonderful! Both were very pleasant and made the shopping experience on New Year’s Eve enjoyable. Keep it up New Lenox Lowes!”

He had a lot of demand from multiple customers and even other workers in the yard and was helping us all out while keeping a great attitude. Nicole at the service desk also gave great customer service and had a big smile on her face for all of the customers she was helping. Thank you both so much!”

“Visited my neighborhood Menards today. Grabbed a 25 foot hose, a new brass Spicket, a washer kit, and a fancy dancy new sprinkler. Went in through the garden center which was an absolute oven but was met with arctic cold air conditioning blasting when I went inside the main building. Store was clean and the isles were clear. Decent crowd inside for it being a holiday. I would visit this location again.”

Now I am a bit of a wood enthusiast, and I could not believe the awesome and all powerful almighty selection they had at store, and when I went up to the employee and asked him how much the wood was for sale he told me it was free because I loved wood so much so I opened up all my orifices for all the wood. Enter.”

“Overall, a very good experience. Was looking for a weird shelving configuration and was able to find it at menards. The sales associate was helpful in helping me locate what I needed for my project. It's nice to see cashiers at the counters versus all the self service checkouts. Was able to take advantage of an eleven percent rebate that they offered. This ended up to be a nice savings of about fifty buck. The home improvement business is quite competitive and menards. Does a good job staying right there with the bigger competition.”

“Overall great place.. Gate attendant to the yard was a real piece of work. Younger guy, seems we may have disrupted his alone time on his phone. Just trying to pick up a large item and had someone with us to help in a second vehicle. Understand the 1 vehicle policy. But no reason for the attendant to be as rude as he was!”

“I've been in the Chicago Ridge location a few times recently. There's one employee there (I wish I could remember his name). He's super tall, anyway, he's extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The manager there couldn't be bothered and was a bit abrupt, but I'll go back just for this gentleman's knowledge and help.”

“I've been fixing up my parent's yard (fencing, flowers and pots,love seat,etc.) and had to buy yard tools, building tools, paint, etc. I probably spent around 2 grand already. Some stuff I ordered online and shipped to the store and some I bought at the store. Stuff I had to order came in when promised and was just what I needed. If I shopped in the store it was easy to find help, whether getting my wood cut or looking for an item. All the employees, whether it be at the order desk or cash register were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Lupe at the pro desk and Betty the cashier (sorry, don't remember other names, but they were all great). I really like doing business at that store and will continue to do so in the future.”
