“I requested an estimate to replace the battery on a tablet. This business is very responsive. I went on site to have the work done. The representative analysed my device and was up-front that replacing the battery would not resolve the issue. They promptly told me it was the charging port and I could replace the motherboard, but the issue would eventually happen again. I appreciate them being honest and would certainly try them again.”
“The two associates I worked with were fantastic. Paul on the first day, and Derrick on the day I had the repairs performed. Knowledgeable and engaged. It is not often you run into young customer service reps in retail that are as switched on as these two. They are truly a credit to the company. They deserve raises!! I was given options, the explanations were clear and concise and honest. The additional battery replacement I was offered was also at a discount since I was there to have the earpiece speaker replaced or cleaned. It turned out a cleaning was all it needed. That kept the price down. In less than 24 hours I referred two people. “Roman Sokolov and his brother are special gifts to the Chicago area if you're in possession of medium to hi-end amplifiers and equipment. I've gone to them for years with an array of issues. Starting with a repair on the volume pot on my college 1980 Aiwa integrated amp that I was sure was destine for the recycle bin. I've got a higher end Tandberg power, preamp and FM tuner set that he keeps like new for me. Be ready to see more piled up old electronics than you've ever seen in one place. But Roman is organized and first rate. You won't find people doing their work anymore.”

I brought my phone in to the shop and within 5 minutes they were able to diagnose that it was a digital display issue. He just dropped it off, got it back on my wall bracket and it’s back to working. If you’re in Mt. Prospect or the surrounding towns I highly recommend them.”

John and co are extremely knowledgeable and he gave me a demo of his in house brand (which sound great). I dropped off my speakers and had them back, repaired, in 2 weeks. So far they sound great. Van L is a friendly shop and they know what they’re doing.”

“I have never given a review before, but the honesty, advise and practical approach I received at Tech City is definitely worth my time to tell its potential customers about.I have a mini iPhone 12 which has numerous cracks in the back even tho I have an OtterBox case (that's a whole other story). I was advised by At&T to go to UBreakIfix, they quoted me a price of $400 to repair the phone. Chadi from Tech City looked at the phone and quoted a price of 37% of the other quote.But, Chadi then told me that if I put some tape on the back it will be fine. So instead of spending $400, it cost me two cents for tape. It is something in this day and age to have an honest approach to business. Hats off to Tech City, job well done. I will always be a customer.”
