“I can’t complain. They are the only store in Pawnee that has groceries. I’m grateful! I couldn’t help but read all of the comments from the whinebags. The funny ones are the comments about how the store is busy and, they would rather drive 10-15 minutes out of their way, spending more $ on gas than waiting in line for free. I guess patience is a thing of the past and some are too impatient to support their local town. I translate it as, I would rather drive longer, and use more gas and money because, I’m impatient. Contradictory. To each his own.”

“Ok, this about today's (April 27, 2024,) event at County Market in Chatham, Illinois. They are cooking up sandwich RIBEYES that are almost twice as big as the buns they're are served on! Just look at the picture.I hadn't planned on eating here, but when I saw the signs, I had to try one. There are two items I track down at the State Fair and that's a pork tenderloin sandwich and this one, A Ribeye sandwich.They also include your choice of a NA beverage, chips and condiments - and as mine was the first sandwich off the grill, it was hot and cooked the way I love it. I added lettuce, a side of excellent pickle slices and the biggest, ripest slice of tomato I have seen in a long, long time. Then I added their Steak Sauce, and while not Country Bob's, it added just the right touch of flavor to an excellent steak.Now, I don't know what it costs anymore at the State Fair but here, today it's SIX DOLLARS PLUS TAX of 46 cents or so.That's right, SIX DOLLARS and I am so glad I dropped by there and waited for this steak lunch. They are serving from 10 AM to 4 PM.Thank you to the staff at this County Market!”

“Young lady that runs place is awesome and most others also but I bet I know who the crabby one is it’s like he’s mad at the world move on man leave your troubles at home . Love the store very upset it’s been closed lately. It the only go to place out here without going to major store in town. Please resolve issues soon open back up .. take care”
