“I really enjoy shopping at Jewel-Osco. They always have great weekly deals and sales that make it easy to save money while stocking up. The store is convenient, well-organized, and I can usually find everything I need in one trip. Definitely one of my go-to places for groceries.”
“I love Aldi's and this location is always very clean and well stocked. Prices and sales are always what keep us coming back!!! The Employees are not always the friendliest at any Aldi location and this location was no exception, sadly. They HAVE opened up self check out counters at this location and that is greatly appreciated, because lines can get long at Aldi's often! There is no such thing as a perfect store, but overall, I would give this location a 5 star!!!”

“You can find uncommon breads at Fareway, e.g. foccacia loaves. Best part, they are baked every day. Baking is their daily accomplishment enjoyed by customers. Try making grilled mozzarella cheese sandwiches with foccacia bread. Yum! Can't find specialty bread, ask if you can put in an order.”

“We regularly visit there for halal meat. Sometimes, I get a good deal. Hope they maintain authentic halal. They need to put certificates on the shelves to help customers. They have Indian Biriyani. Taste is good. But their mutton biriyani feels like goat.”
“Tony’s Grocery on Hero Street is a hidden gem! This small market has the absolute best tortilla chips, tortillas, and tamales (when available). The quality of the products is unmatched, and you can really taste the freshness in everything. The tamales are a must-try whenever they’re in stock. They’re flavorful and perfectly made. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend Tony’s for anyone craving authentic, delicious Mexican food items. “QC Global Groceries had good prices on some things I needed for a dish -- bay leaves, chili peppers, and some other stuff. Nice folks and great prices -- I took the bay leaves back to Hy-Vee I bought earlier.
I make that mistake sometimes of hitting the big box store before the smaller joints, and I regret it nearly every time.”

“I shop here about every 48 hours. Awesome prices, and usually everything's in stock. If you like going in and getting what you want without walking a mile or needing a map, Dollar General is where to go. Staff have always been friendly and quick checking out. My only complaint is that they use way too many plastic bags. They need to concentrate on using each bag to it's capacity. I don't need a whole plastic bad for a bag of chips. Save the earth! Otherwise, I love shopping here...”

“Great little convenient store in downtown LeClaire. They have everything from regular convenient storw stuff to wine, beer, and touristy knick knacks...oh they even have an A&W. Right in front of the American Pickers shop and next to police station. Customer service is always good there too.”

“This particular Dollar General always has someone at the register, always knows where to find things, always has boxes put away so you dont trip on them, and most of all always seems to have a very friendly staff. I would say this store is very well run. There is another Dollar General literally next door to the office where I work and I will always wait until I am close to home and patronize the Port Byron store.”
