“Great little family owned shoe store, took my mom which has abnormal feet (size 10 W, not just any Wide will do ?) & they were so attentive, helpful & friendly. ✅ Example: they asked what kind of shoe is she looking for & what size, then they kept bringing shoes out to her, for her to try on! Then when she found one, it was actually a bit tight but they actually made it wider (just for her! ?) because it's leather & can be widen out. I didn't even know they could do that! At the end, she did ended up buying them, she has been looking for shoes for more than 6 years, I'm so glad that the 1st time coming here. We found what were looking for & it only took the right place to go to; find that the shoe fits.”

The orthotics don't fall apart like Scheck and Siress. $700.00 vrs $50... I'll stick with New New Balance from now on. Manager Matt runs a great operation. Also the prices were by far the best I’ve seen and comparable to Amazon. The only difference is with Amazon you cannot get fitted, receive values advice, and try on difference sizes…... “Peak Running in La Grange is a fantastic shoe/running store. I have had a positive experience each of the five times I have shopped in there. None more positive than over the past weekend, with sales associate/Megan.Megan personified what customer service is all about on both days (Saturday; Sunday) I entered Peak Running. On Saturday, she was a major help in exchanging a pair of shoes for a better pair of shoes (at least for I was looking for).The pair of shoes that was coming my way was not to arrive until Sunday. Megan promptly called me when they arrived, and in finishing off her all-world weekend performance, she waited 5-10 minutes past closing time to accede my request, as I was coming from far away. Hence, I was able to get my shoes on Sunday as opposed to Monday.Thanks again, Megan!”

Now the shoes really are the same price as elsewhere. also I am a popular size so don't find a lot that fits me.Love the shoe carnivals in Chicago though. They're advertised as the largest selection of reflective clothing in Chicago so I decided to take the nearly 2 hour drive from Freeport and let me tell you, I was not disappointed and sure didn't leave empty handed.
