“What an awesome place! They have a clothing closet and Pantry on Thursdays from 4-6pm! Way to help out the community! No ID needed. Friendly helpers! Warm place!”
“It's an ok place to shop if your on a budget. Be careful what you buy some things are junk but asking to much $.
My advice: you are buying used & donated items.”
“Thank you to the entire team at Friendship Manor, especially in the Memory Care Unit where they provided loving, caring and compassionate care for our mother. She enjoyed the staff who were so kind and loving. She enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful outdoor patio, having coffee with friends and engaging in the other social activities there. She was always treated like family and we knew she was happy and safe. I would highly recommend Friendship Manor.”
“Hands down, the best facility, and the only one I will go to. The YWCA have been more welcoming and friendly than any yMca I attempted to frequent in the entire Quad Cities and outlying areas. I am a mermaid. That is, I am a talented and trained swimmer and as a hobby I invest in monofins and other equipment like finfolk brand mermaid tails in order to enjoy swimming more. No matter what I did or said, attempted to show or prove, (this hobby requires no special permissions or licenses) none of the yMca's here welcomed me. In fact, they were downright rude and aggressive in some cases for no reason whatsoever. I almost gave up on finding a place to swim, and then I emailed the director of this YWCA. She was so gracious, kind, and she welcomed me with open arms. The whole facility has done so. Since becoming a member it is wild seeing how much this place is doing for the community, and how very little the yMca's (there are like TEN in this area alone) are also doing. Don't waste your time or money elsewhere. The YWCA is here for you.”
“A fairly large venue that's easy enough to get to and get around, but definitely dated. There's always something fun for everyone to look forward whether it's Bald Eagle Days, a gun show, outdoor show, RV and camper show, or convention of some kind.”
