“As a 5 year old in 1965 I lived two blocks away from the Putnam Museum. My childhood friend and I would roam all over in those days and often roamed over to the museum. For a dime entrance fee and no adult supervision we had the museum to ourselves to explore and play. The museum provided my first experiences with mummies, wild animals, native Americans, and many other things a five year had no concept of back in the 60’s. It was great! Thank you Putnam Museum for some my fondest childhood memories”
