“Sarah is not only a talented artist, she is an excellent teacher. I signed up with a friend to take a class on block printing. Her directions were concise, her skills helpful to the class and her personality is perfect for guiding new students. We had a great time and enjoyed the relaxing process of creating art.
We really loved looking at her collection of vintage letter press letters to create unique art too!
Her shop is also adorable and has many unique items for gifts, decor and stationary. Highly recommend taking a class or swinging by during her shop hours to check it out!”

“Inscape has such a great variety of art, books, and others goods all created by local artists, authors, and creators. Open Mic Night is always such a fun evening of people singing, reading poetry, doing magic… you just never know who might show up.”

“I always see Aaron Wilson showcase this store for the 12 days of Christmas segment on WIFR each year. I was in need of several gifts so decided to check them out! The store is beautifully decorated, festive, bright and inviting! The staff were very helpful and checked back with me from time to time but did not hover! I was there about 1 1/2 hours and chose 9 gifts! Each was carefully wrapped for the different occasions and I was counseled before colors were chosen. Yesterday, five of those gifts were given! They were all a huge hit and everyone raved about the gifts themselves and the wrapping! Everyone said, “where is that store?” “I want to go there!” Also, I had purchased four cork coasters with the funniest sayings! We laughed and laughed! Thank you Porch! You are the BEST!”

“One of the best consignment shops in Rockford! A very cozy atmosphere with lots of treasures to be discovered each time. Also to mention at reasonable costs! Christi is so talented with her displays.
As for the beta fish debacle, she’s never advocated for the pets to be in their containers longterm. She certainly doesn’t deserve the low ratings for her creative approach. A family member purchased one of the fish displays and rehomed it in a proper home and has plans to turn the old space into a terrarium. I think it’s unnecessary and hateful for people to tank her reviews for that alone. It’s why I’ve felt necessary to go out of my way to leave this review and let it be known, Christi herself, her staff, and her shop are a treasure for the second hand community. Thank you for your hard work and commitment to the craft!! Your shop will always be a favorite of mine.”

“I always buy anime gifts here. Store is inside Cherry Valley Mall, Rockford IL , it is small but have a great atmosphere, have lots of toys to choose from and service is great. A great place to check toys up! Thank you!”

“I love this store and usually have no problems. But I went in there today and there was a girl with purple hair who followed me and my boyfriend the entire time we shopped. Not sure if she wanted to say hi or what was happening but I don’t appreciate being treated like a thief when I’m just trying to browse. Every one else seemed fine so not sure what was going on.”

We sent birthday goodies to family and they said everything from the flowers, cupcakes, cake and chocolate dipped strawberries was absolutely beautiful & delicious. Our first time ordering from them as we live in another State, and I was so pleased to hear how wonderful everything was. We will definitely order again!
