“Honestly, after reading the reviews, I was in for a scare. My car got totaled on a Friday, and the police had a tow company taking my suv already. I had filed a claim and my insurance took care of it. I just need to come in and sign a form to allow my insurance to come get it and you just need to bring key if you have it drivers license and the insurance for the vehicle. The people in the office were friendly and patient no troubles just make sure you have things a head of time (license,insurance). But this is my experience of a total loss vehicle”

“No one ever is ever looking forward to calling a towing service after their car breaks down ( Anyway, with that comment being said ). It is in No way reflective of the two ( 2 ) recent experiences that I have had with Chicago 24 Hour towing ( one on Nov. 24 / 2025 and the other on Dec. 11 / 2025 ). My tow truck operator ( Robert ) both the times that I had to use their service was great ( I was present at one of the towing's and not at the other one ). He was adroit at solving the parking and towing issues involved in getting my car from where it had broken down to the service center. He was also prompt in his arrival time at the pickup locations, with excellent ( and friendly ) customer service, along with very fair pricing in regards to the towing charges. So if you are ever in need of towing services in the Chicago area. I would highly recommend using Chicago 24 Hour towing at 5332 North Elston Avenue.”

“A Tale of Two Shops – just one example of how great Nofsinger’s has been over the years, as Dave is always quick to consult or scan my cars even when busy, and has always been more than reasonable.
Using technology many independent shops lack, Dave diagnosed my intermittent airbag light as a failing clock spring and then determined that Hyundai had a problem with the part so I might be able to get it repaired free at a dealership. No charge from Dave.
Sure enough, I found a technical service bulletin and an extension of the warranty to 15 years. This should be the end of the story, but you can always count on dealers to make Nofsinger’s look good. I booked a service appointment at a dealership in Villa Park (also reviewed) and insisted that they have the part in stock by the time I came so I wouldn’t have to go twice.
Short version: They didn’t have the part but didn’t tell me until I’d been there 2.5 hours waiting for an oil change I’d added and an open recall (underbody treatment) I’d agreed to only because I thought I was getting it all over with at once.
On top of that, the service writer told me the job would cost $700 when the part came in. Gee, I wonder where dealers get their bad reputations? After I pushed back, he scurried off to a manager and then returned to confirm there would be no charge, but there was never anything close to an apology.
I never went back. I got the part for $27 and installed it myself literally in 20 minutes. If I’d gone back to Nofsinger’s (where they’re always patient with my DIY endeavors), I guarantee it wouldn’t have cost $700. Or $200. They can do way more than you think, and if they can’t, they admit it.”

Sure, you could save $20 and buy cheaper somewhere else. But why risk getting cheap tires from unskilled technicians who don’t know how to properly balance a tire and then use an impact wrench to tighten your lug nuts causing your alloy rims to be distorted? Where’s your $20 savings now?
Seriously. I’ve had that happen. Don’t let it happen to you. Go to DuPage. Best tire shop around! Honest and knowledgeable experts.”
“Blaine and his team are always accommodating and kind! I’ve had all my cars repaired here and they get it done quickly and given back to me in pristine condition! Carlos cleans and details the inside, they all go above and beyond for their customers! When I offer a tip they refuse, saying they are doing their jobs, they bring my car back to me and work around my hectic schedule, they know how to treat people and I will continue to go there knowing they can always be trusted!
