    “I went in Aldi on Freedom drive this morning around 11:30am. I needed some assistance finding a few things. Jeremy was very helpful in finding a couple things in grocery. Then I went to cooler items and there was no strawberry on the bottom yogurt. The boxes behind the spot for it were about 4 and I couldn't see them all. I asked John if he could help by looking at the back boxes. He couldn't find any, but he also went one step ahead and looked in the back stock for me. This is what I call EXCELLENT customer service. I usually shop on the north side because I live over there, but I will be back over here just because of these two gentlemen. Thank you guys. Keep up the amazing job!!”

    “You need a quarter for the cart and you bag your own groceries. What you get is the highest quality groceries for half the price. It's literally half price. I love exotic cheeses and Aldi delivers. Fresh fruit, fresh veggies and an impressive selection of breads and treats greet you as you enter. Aldi finds arrive weekly and can include anything from lawn furniture to specialty jams. Aldi is where my shopping begins. Only if I can't find it there, will I buy it elsewhere. You can't beat the quality or price on the items they carry.”

    Kroger is spending $112 million to build two new stores and renovate 15 existing locations across central and northwest Ohio. The company calls it a "record-breaking" commitment to the region. The two new Kroger Marketplace stores will rise in Canal Winchester and Delaware, Ohio, each costing roughly $30 million to build. Kroger broke ground on the Canal Winchester location on March 19 at the southeast corner of Diley Road and Greengate Boulevard. The 118,000-square-foot store is expected to open in late fall 2026 and will create around 250 jobs.

    Loblaw Companies Limited is putting serious money into its retail network this year. Canada's largest food and pharmacy retailer announced it will spend $2.4 billion in 2026 to open new stores, renovate existing locations and strengthen its supply chain. The company plans to open 70 new stores in 2026. That includes 34 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix pharmacies and care clinics, along with 31 hard-discount No Frills and Maxi grocery stores. On top of the new openings, Loblaw will renovate another 191 stores and continue construction on a roughly 1.2 million-square-foot automated distribution center in Caledon, Ontario.
