“I was at the U for several events. Seeing the outside of the building gave me an “awe” feeling. Inside , the brightness of everything drew my attention. Other attractions were the wall decor, the beautiful clean restroom and the sparkling chandelier. I had a wonderful experience and with no doubt I would return again.”
“The Grand U was a perfect location for Project Compassion's fundraiser.The space was spacious, clean, and equipped with everything we needed.Our Caterer had plenty of space to spread out and serve meals.There wasn't anything we needed that The Grand U team didn't provide.The level of professionalism from start to finish is worth 5-stars alone.You won't regret allowing them to host your next event.”

“My son held his retirement ceremony here. The wait catering staff were really sweet, and accommodating. It was a morning ceremony, everything was setup for social distancing. Large spacious room.”
“I was the DJ for a wedding reception held here in one of the rooms. The staff was extremely helpful from the moment I walked in the door to when I left. I'm not sure if the venue cooked the food or if there was another company that did, but hands down some of the best food I've had at wedding reception in 18+ years as a wedding DJ.”
“First time going was for Glo Bingo fundraiser for our child's marching band. Very fun place! Large facility. Wish the bathrooms had paper towels instead of blow dryers.”

“I attended the Sunday evening bingo. The upstairs is the only place open for bingo. No food is offered. I enjoyed the games and the employees and players are friendly. They are only offering bingo every other Sunday night to get a handle on the number of players that will attend. Hopefully they will resume it every week. If you attend bring you own food and snacks. The offer fountain drinks and some alcohol I believe.”
“The fish was very good and Shrimp were huge. Very satisfied with the food but Lint is not a good time to go. Stood in line to order 45 minutes and received food an hour after that. Very busy!!”
“I ordered a pizza at the bar to go - Sophie took my ordered & was excellent. She asked all right questions…what do I mean by that - I’ve ordered the same pizza before at the bar & my pizza was disappointing - I always order half vegetables half Italian sausage & in the past the pizza didn’t have enough vegetables on it, but not tonight thanks to Sophie - she pulled out the menu, named off all the vegetables that were going to on my pizza & placed my order. When my pizza was done Sophia opened the box up and ensured I was satisfied. GREAT job Sophie keep doing an AMAZING job.”

“Byrin the cook makes it a great hotel to stay. taken care of us more then once in the morning and he’s awesome, fast to get our food, always hot food and very nice in the morning, seems like he’s the only one running the show in the morning with a smile every day. The front desk staff are very nice as well and are welcoming and very friendly. The only complaint I have is the beds are stiff feels like your laying on a stiff board but the rooms are extremely clean.”

“The lady and man at the front desk was very nice. The swimming pool was clean however it could be a little warmer. The storms made the power go off for a short second and it was kind of scary but it came right back on. I felt sorry for the lady at front desk b c all the computers was off and they would not reboot so she could sell stuff from the store or check more people in. The breakfast was good and ladies were very friendly. They need hair dryers in the rooms though and there wasn't one. The guy checking people out was nice also. The bed was very soft and cozy.”
