Hard to part with my dad’s collection but we lived in Oakton for my entire youth and young adult life. Maybe meant to be.”

I saw it catching the eyes of unawares passersby multiple times on a night out downtown) is simply unmatched. And Kathy is in a league of her own in terms of her artistic ability to match design and functionality in the construction of the band. She designed it specifically for me and my wife, even utilizing its own curvature to shape out the first letter of our last name in beautiful fashion. I was simply blown away. Not only that, but she went way above the extra mile and got me a box to present the ring in, fitted with a small light so that the full radiance of the diamond could be shown in the crucial moment when I present the ring to my wife. My wife was simply floored when I gave it to her, and I owe that 100% to Kathy & Steven--THANK YOU!! The level of care and attention that I received, and the overall genuine concern for making this the best possible experience for me is honestly something that is, to use a phrase, as common as finding a diamond in the rough for consumers in this industry, and when you find people like that you are truly appreciative. I wanted nothing but the best to propose to my wife with, and yet was ill equipped to do that on my own. Thank god that I found & went with Steven's Jewelers! It is unquestionable that if I went to a normal jewelers, a Macys, or other kind of windowshopping that I wouldn't have gotten half the quality that I did and surely would have paid double the price. Steven went out of his way to explain to me the ins & outs of the industry, and what criterion to use to measure the quality of a diamond, in a way that no average jeweler could--or if they could, would--do. I have the matching earrings. Had not seen the bracelet before. So beautiful.Jane did a fantastic job of customer care and service. She saw my ring and offered to have it cleaned, and someone brought it back to me in five minutes. She informed me that the bracelet would go up in price $100 in January to help my deliberations; she had me try it on to get the right size (didn't even know I was a medium until I tried it on) etc.Took tremendous discipline to walk out -- just made a mental note: but I have a birthday in January...It's always so much better to be able to be able to try things on in the store.”
