“The inside of the store was nice. They have this new type of shoe called slip-ins. Very nice type of shoe especially if you need shoes that are non-slip.
Unfortunately, the one young girl who checked me out at the counter was not very friendly or engaging. I asked if they recycle their materials such as boxes and shoe inserts instead of throwing them out. She did not seem to care and expressed no interest in doing so.”

“I actually shopped online and did curb pickup because I did not want to pay for shipping. The curb pick up was extremely easy and convenient. Once you place an order you get confirmation that your order is ready at the store. When you are ready to pick up you call the store and the associate brings the purchase to your car all contact free.”

“I’m a small gift store owner. Today was the Friday before Mother’s Day and it was wonderfully wild at our store. I’m going to the theatre tomorrow afternoon and I have spent the week flipping out that I have nothing casual but nice enough to wear tomorrow. Because we were so busy all week at work, I have not had a chance to go shopping. So about 5 o’clock today I called JJill in Skokie. Jamie answered and put a shirt on hold for me. The shirt looked nice online but still I was clueless what to wear with it. Jamie told me the store was open until 9. I raced over after work at 8pm. I ran into the store, found Jamie and told her I needed a cute outfit to wear in 16 hours. Jamie pulled together 2 of the cutest outfits …EVER. She was so patient and wonderful and I promised to leave by closing and she said don’t worry, we will stay after if you need. WHAT????? Who does that? So 45 minutes later I walked out with two super cute outfits (not just theater wear but over and over dinner date wear, birthday party wear, out to lunch, out to dinner, off to work, clothes I can get so much use from.) Also some earrings, a pair of jeans, a great ivory tank and a present for my business partner!! Jamie was amazing!!!!! Above and beyond (and I left her with 15 minutes to spare!!!) JJill (and of course Jamie) will be my first go to from now on!! Thanks JJill so much for employing such great people!!
I also would like to mention skokie and deer park are my 2 jjill stores. Several years ago I stopped shopping at Jjill because the staff was really very icky to work with. And if you brought back a return it was as if they were doing a gigantic favor returning it!! Not great attitudes, not very nice, etc. I started shopping a couple of years ago at your stores again. Not sure what has changed but Deer park and Old Orchard have such consistently wonderful service. Please pass along my sincere thanks. And whatever may have changed at the corporate level, the results are so noticeable and appreciated.

“I came to Tilly's on a mission: to find black jeans in a style/cut that fit me well. Being a small person, finding men's clothes that aren't huge on me is a challenge. In addition, many of the styles have been popular for the last decade make me look like a pear. Not what I'm going for.Needless to say, it was extremely comforting and refreshing when Jaime, one of the amazing people who was working that day, came to my aid. They helped me identify cuts that would accentuate what I want, hide what I don't like, and help me love my presentation. For the first time ever I was able to look in the mirror and see the goth boy that had yearned to be seen- and I even felt handsome.Jaime was extremely compassionate, validating, and went above and beyond to help me. I left feeling confident, seen, accepted, and excited to share my true self with the rest of the world. I am extremely grateful to Jaime for their support and highly recommend Tilly's if you want a wide variety of clothes, warm and welcoming staff, and a wonderful experience all around.”

“Went here and bought my first real suit. Leif and all of his colleagues were extremely helpful! Experts with suit fitting and worked super well as a team even calling their tailor to answer one of my questions. I read some negative reviews and can disprove all of them. Highly recommend coming here when there is an active sale though because it definitely on the pricier side when paying full price. I came during a 30% store wide sale and got a full suit for ≈$700.”

This past week, I came in to grab an item that was leaving the store....not even an expensive item. The manager made me feel like the most important person in the world. “For being a plus size woman I enjoy shopping at this store. They offer up to 3X or 4X sizes. They also offer up to size 30 in jeans. The parking lot is free and has a lot of options. The staff was very helpful and friendly.”
