“I’d like to give a 5 star review to Midland Bank in Smithton, Il and especially Devon, on the front line. We were planning a high school 50th class reunion and we needed to open an account to start collecting funds and writing the necessary checks. There wasn’t anyone else on the committee who was able to find a bank that could meet our needs without a monthly fee for maintaining the account. I had already checked with other banks in town and they had no account that would work so I was very surprised when I went into Midland and Devon was happy to help! He was so knowledgeable about the different account options and was able to open a LivSimply account for us with only a $50 opening balance, no daily balance requirement and no monthly service fee. It’s exactly what we needed and the account was set up in a few minutes with Devon’s expertise! Eight months later our reunion is over and was a huge success. No where along the line was there even a hiccup with how smoothly the transactions went with Midland. Thanks so much to them and to Devon for making this banking experience so easy. She helped with a mortgage auto pay set up that got taken out too soon. She had it resolved within minutes and money back in my account by the next day. I actually, look forward to going to the bank now. And, who says that? Thank you Erin!
