“The name has changed to Pontoon Fuels and has new ownership. I started coming her because it is 1 of the last stores that wouldn't make you prepay, I like to pay in cash. It was clean inside and outside. My wife even decided to get a job there. It did change ownership about 16 months ago.I was unsure of the new owners at first. They made a few changes, like getting rid of the hot food. While it was convenient for some, the license just became too costly. So, I understand that space is limited and they need to make a profit. You can still get gas without prepay, which was my original reason for choosing it.I must admit my wife is now the manager, and I think she is doing pretty good at keeping it clean and a customer friendly store.”

“Terrific and perfect stop, first exit in Missouri (exit 34) after crossing the Mississippi River. Gas is cheaper than in Illinois, lots of pumps, easy off and easy back on I-270 west. Perfect restrooms. Lots of food and drink, great service and I even enjoyed a great chocolate milkshake!”

Team members at Godfrey Illinois station always greet me by my name. I hear them talking to, laughing with, caring for repeat customers like me, and new. They are like family now. “Beautifully very well maintained gas station. The location is central into the area in place of Granite city that is well kept it is actually one of the best cleaned and maintained quick trips in the area with a perfect experience in customer service. It is across from the hospital located centrally by the other areas of fast food; a subway, rally’s, and a McDonald’s. There are parks across the street and down the street, this is a QuikTrip located in downtown Granite city in the up-and-coming arts District and the customer service provided is perfect the kitchen has cooked to order delicacies, croissants, breakfast or pizza/lunch. As well as pastries with specialty coffees and Espresso of every variety possible! Safe place, as it’s a police sub station I believe most are and sits by the police stations as well!”

“The staff are so friendly no matter what shift you stop in on. They have some snack choices there that you're unable to find anywhere else because they are a bit of a throwback item. I have been able to indulge in some snacks that were made when I was a kid and it is nice to have good service early in the morning as well as a small area of selection with quite a wide variety of options. The placement of this gas station is also quite convenient making it an easy place for me to stop in whether I am coming or going”

“Was in there today getting gas and watched the young blonde haired girl working as quick as she could to get the line down as well as a store call, lottery ticket, and issues at the pump. Making sure all the customers wants weren’t accomplished and kept a positive attitude throughout what looked like a hectic start to her morning. She showed my daughter that working hard at a young age isn’t impossible. Definitely respect her dedication I didn’t catch her name unfortunately she definitely deserves to be recognized”

“Sams gas is always the place to be. The gas is usually about 50 cents lower in price to other stations. Lines get long sometimes but it's well worth the wait.”

“I just needed to put some ice water in my own 40 oz insulated bottle, because I have an hour drive to get home from Alton. At 2 other Phillips stations (c-stores) in the area, they wouldn't accept money for me to do it, but I didn't think I would get the same answer at this location.I was pleasantly surprised to find that I was wrong!The gentleman at the counter (who looked like he may be a manager or owner) was very kind.The store was a little bit messy, but a lot of people come & go at this location - and I was there at about 4:30 on a weekday. It was obvious that things were kept neat and tidy otherwise.”

“I ordered a sandwich from the kitchen and paid for it and a soda, which I didn’t have yet. I went back and filled a cup and was in the process of finding a lid when my sandwich order was called for pickup. I went and grabbed my order. As i turned around, a young male worker, who had been stocking and cleaning near the fountains, greeted me with the correct lid, straw, and napkin. That’s service! Didn’t catch his name but it was on Saturday 10/28 in the afternoon.”

“Everyone does so amazing in this store. Very friendly and amazing atmosphere except when the kitchen person is there with the skinny tall guy with glasses i believe his name is Steve. I’ve seen him multiple times scream or even kick the trash in the back when he gets an order makes me feel like not making a order because I don’t know if something foul was done to my pizza”
