About Crowne Plaza Springfield - Convention Ctr, an IHG Hotel
Crowne Plaza Springfield is a comfortable and clean hotel with good service and a convenient location near I-55. Many guests found the rooms cozy, clean, and a good size. The front desk staff is frequently described as friendly, helpful, and exceptional. However, experiences with dining and amenities were mixed. Some guests reported issues with food quality, cold catered meals, and running out of coffee. The lounge and restaurant service was sometimes unavailable, and the pool area could be loud. While many would stay again for the comfortable rooms and service, some aspects of the dining and facilities were inconsistent.
Great service, conveniently located, clean rooms and extremely comfortable bed! Highly recommend.

I was recently there for a Key Club convention. Overall, the rooms and dining areas were not as clean as last year. The servers worked hard, but seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food quality, especially for those with dietary restrictions, was not great. Also, they ran out of coffee both mornings.

Nice large hotel with great amenities while staying in the Springfield, IL area. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Enjoy!!!
