They were kind enough and honest to tell me that I still had 2000 miles left on my previous oil change. This is one of the many reasons I will continue to do business with them in our community!”

Took my truck to lauterbach, as I should have in the first place, and the guys found and fixed the issue in no time. Very reasonably priced, friendly and quick. Didn’t try to upsell me or talk me into anything else. 10 stars!”

“I was the only customer there so I drove right in and they changed my oil in good time. Didn't give me a hassle about the cabin or air filters. What I didn't like was noone said a word to me until it came time to pay. Didn't even say hi or good afternoon. A little pleasantries would have been nice.”
“WE had a new Battery, tire repair, windshield wiper replaced, and oil change all did at the Springfield, IL Southwest WalMart Auto Center within an hour. We always go to this WalMart for these type repairs on an annualy basis.”
“Good service, they changed my oil and later the splash pan fell off. I brought it up to them because they had to remove it to change the oil filter. They replaced it without any hassle. Very professional”
“Must say was very impressed by our visit. It was only 3 days into me and my wife's honeymoon on route 66 when we got a puncture on our car. Being from the UK we didnt really know what our options were we had no minutes or texts on our phones so struggled to ring around places/services. Anyway Walmart was our only hope and they delivered. We had no booking but was there as soon as they opened. Jerry in particular was very helpful and understanding also very polite. Within an hour we was back on the road for $18 dollars (puncture repair) and luckily had no further problems and lasted the remaining 3 weeks so to me that was great service and a thanks to the lads in the garage! Fully recommend.”
“After being told by the 6th street Walmart that they were able to change my tire. I drove 20 minutes there and they said that they could no longer do it because they had a missed appt. Living an hour away and realizing.I had threads out of my tire when making it into Springfield. I was not very happy about the extra twenty minute drive just for them to turn me away after calling and confirming the would get us in.
After.being turned away from this Walmart.I proceeded to call the Westside walmart and never got through. My husband called the dirksen walmart and immediately got through (at this point it's 5:50 and they stop taking cars at 6 because they close at 7).
We explain our situation about being from out of town and the urgency. They said get here before six thirty and we'll get you in. We get there and they were extremely polite and eager to help. Waited maybe half and hour for them to change my ture and was out of there before they closed at 7.
With them being under new management, figured i would take the time to write this Good review to hopefully change people's outlook on the auto department at Walmart.At least at this location.”
