“I have been to many vets all around the Chicago area for my dogs and cats, and I trust none of them on the level I trust Mayfair Animal Clinic. The quality of care, affordability, and transparency are a cut above the rest. This isn't a corporate vet, this is a warm, family run business. I have had fantastic experiences with Dr. Paul and Dr. Elizabeth. All the vet techs and receptionist are kind, friendly and willing to answer any questions they can. The veterinary work Dr. Paul specifically has done has visibly and dramatically improved the lives of my pets. I could not recommend a vet more.”

“This place is an absolute local gem with great prices and the owner, Laura, is SO welcoming and helpful! My dog chewed through her leash on our morning walk, not living in the neighborhood I googled the pet store nearby and Laura's shop was the closest. What I intended to be a quick trip to buy a leash ended up being 15+ minutes of chatting with Laura about my dogs fav treats, different food options, and tips on how to help her stop biting a leash. We left with samples and a free treat for my pup. I've never ONCE experienced this kind of quality service at a big box pet shop. Im hooked, and will be back! Thank you, Laura!”

“Blown away by the amazing customer service! I arrived with a minute to spare (totally my fault, I thought they were open later). I had run in after work to get cake mix for my pup’s birthday and a few items and they were so gracious enough to let me snag them and gave me recommendations on the doggie ice cream. Our babe was over the moon with his treats and I can't wait to go back! Thank you for being so fantastic and making not only my pup’s birthday but my day as well!!”

“Xavier was the most helpful person I could ever ask for. In the recent winter freeze I realized my dog needed snow shoes, after going to MULTIPLE stores I called this location. Not only did he tell me that they had them in stock but also told me how to measure my dogs feet for the right sizing and explain everything to me so well. Genuinely so thankful for urban mutt and their employees!”

“My go to location for the self service dog wash. No issues when I went and they've improved the water pressure and dryer pressure which is essential for my fluffy poodle. Only thing the company as a whole needs to do is get an authentic oatmeal shampoo or change the name to something floral because it severally lacks any component of oatmeal”

“I experienced PETCO Grooming Salon early this year in March and have no complaints. I looked at reviews before going so I knew the groomers I wanted for my fur baby, fortunately I received one of them and she was my first choice, Donny. She did an amazing job, couldn’t have asked for more and her professionalism character and patience was on point. She seems to love animals and it shows in her work. Everyone else I encountered while there were wonderful too. I just purchased another baby and will be taking them both in for grooming. You seem to have a great staff there, don’t let them get away.”

“Best pet store in Chicago! I've been going there for 35 years. Healthier fish than any other store in this city! Tony is alright! Everyone has a bad day sometimes! And he has been working on his feet for 8 hours! Hey lady have some compassion for him, imagine if you worked on your feet for 8 hours and he came to your job and stopped you from going home at the assigned time? How would you treat him? Next time go earlier. I think Tony's last job was a bouncer in a lounge. Lol.just kidding. I love goldens pet store and everyone in it. Tony is a hard worker, he is very helpful to Mr Golden.
