“This place is an absolute local gem with great prices and the owner, Laura, is SO welcoming and helpful! My dog chewed through her leash on our morning walk, not living in the neighborhood I googled the pet store nearby and Laura's shop was the closest. What I intended to be a quick trip to buy a leash ended up being 15+ minutes of chatting with Laura about my dogs fav treats, different food options, and tips on how to help her stop biting a leash. We left with samples and a free treat for my pup. I've never ONCE experienced this kind of quality service at a big box pet shop. Im hooked, and will be back! Thank you, Laura!”

“I love this Vet Clinic! The entire staff: techs, docs, and receptionists are professional, friendly, helpful I have been bringing Athena, my German Shepherd, here for 10 years. Doctor Paul basically cured her allergies. She feels soooooo much better. It's a family owned business which I think makes the quality and customer investment a notch above.”

“We love your treats so much. My dogs get so excited when I pull out a Farm to Pet treat bag. For me, I love that I’m giving my dogs a healthy single ingredient treat. I also love that I can break them down easily into smaller pieces which is great for training. I have a question tho, I buy these in bulk to give to our new puppy families. What is the shelf life on these treats?”
“My go to location for the self service dog wash. No issues when I went and they've improved the water pressure and dryer pressure which is essential for my fluffy poodle. Only thing the company as a whole needs to do is get an authentic oatmeal shampoo or change the name to something floral because it severally lacks any component of oatmeal”

“I am a loyal customer here. Their grooming service are the best. Nicky is my Groomer for my dogs. She's awesome. So kind & sweet to them. My dog is difficult to get her nails clipped. The Vet had to sedate her and my dog suffered for it. I tried it here and met Nicky who was great. Now she's gone. Ruby who is new here was able to calm my dog get her nails done fast with no sedation or problems.That's how good she was. All their staff is great! I'm glad I can keep coming here for my dogs grooming needs!”

“I experienced PETCO Grooming Salon early this year in March and have no complaints. I looked at reviews before going so I knew the groomers I wanted for my fur baby, fortunately I received one of them and she was my first choice, Donny. She did an amazing job, couldn’t have asked for more and her professionalism character and patience was on point. She seems to love animals and it shows in her work. Everyone else I encountered while there were wonderful too. I just purchased another baby and will be taking them both in for grooming. You seem to have a great staff there, don’t let them get away.”

“Best pet store in Chicago! I've been going there for 35 years. Healthier fish than any other store in this city! Tony is alright! Everyone has a bad day sometimes! And he has been working on his feet for 8 hours! Hey lady have some compassion for him, imagine if you worked on your feet for 8 hours and he came to your job and stopped you from going home at the assigned time? How would you treat him? Next time go earlier. I think Tony's last job was a bouncer in a lounge. Lol.just kidding. I love goldens pet store and everyone in it. Tony is a hard worker, he is very helpful to Mr Golden. “I just recently bought a 5 month old sun conure from them. David was so knowledgeable and helpful during the process. We had gone to multiple pets shops and this by far was the cleanest and most well taken care of pets. Out of all shops these birds were the healthiest since all their feathers were full and shiny. We love our baby and I cannot recommend this shop and David enough.* also they board animals for those who travel for work or go on vacation and want to leave their animal with trusted care takers*”
“Was referred here by an associate to get help with tank repair and ended up not needing the repair I thought was necessary. So, I ended up taking a chance on buying a marine fish. Although, my wife was getting tired of losing fish we'd purchased from a store in Tinley Park and was losing interest from the hobby. I explained my dilemma to the store owner and he agreed to help me win my wife's trust back into the hobby. Let's say I haven't lost any live stock since working with him. Wife is back on board and excited to redecorate the aquarium. Thanks for the great store experience and future endeavors.”
“I love Rockstar Pets! My pug Ozzie has been going here for enrichment for about a year now. He is very well treated; he's eager to go in whenever we walk there and the staff give really nice comments about him and communicate whenever there have been issues (like one time when he hurt his paw a bit.) I also love that when we leave town, we can board Ozzie in the same place he already knows, with the same great people looking after him and also all his pup friends! Also the location is very close to the eastern end of the 606 so it's quite easy to walk/bike to from much of Bucktown/Wicker Park.”

“Compared to the store on Ashland &Archer, the customer service was superb. I will travel to Wicker Park any day to pick up my pet supplies. It is also a much bigger store! They even offered my dog a treat and helped me carry supplies to my trunk. You just gotta get what you want when sales first start or they run out of things. But I think that's at every store in the area. You can't order from a wearhouse, you have to order from an individual store. The only thing I don't like. But they do price match Chewy, PetSmart, Petco, and Amazon (excluding 3rd parties).”

“I brought my pup there last Saturday and was told the fee for a cut, bath and nail clip would be $75. My pup is a lap dog, a Shitzu mix and is not a large animal. After about an hour I got a call from the owner who said my dog was hard to handle and the job was only half done. She said she would complete the job for an additonal $15 considering his obstinate behavior. I finally returned to pick up my dog after another few hours. The total bill was $90 and it's been a week and the dog's fur has been growing back in patches longer than others. I am completely dissatisfied with the grooming that was done and feel like I was extorted for an additional $15 to to get my pet back. I won't be using Splash again.”
