“Real authentic Mexican food served here. Great tacos made to order on Friday and homemade small buffets in the back on the weekends. Try their white queso, salsa, pico de gallo, guac and homemade chips. They are the best. Foil wrapped burritos are great too. Churro’s at the counter! Can’t beat it. This place is easily one of Streator’s hidden gems. Owner and staff are friendly every time you go in here.”

“On Saturday I went to Kroger in Streator, IL to place an order for a birthday cake for my son who is nonverbal and has autism, and loves holidays and his birthday every year. During this visit to the store, my son was overwhelmed (and so was I) as we tried to look through the binder to find the Minecraft cakes. Kristine in the bakery was so helpful and understanding. She followed us around to take our order on the go as my son really wanted to keep moving about. Meeting a community helper who assisted us with empathy, kindness, and creative order-taking was so appreciated in that moment.”
