“I had a issue a few weeks ago here is the rest of the story rating changed form 1 to 5. **UPDATE:** The owner, Justin, found out about what occurred and personally called me to apologize. He explained that what happened is not how he operates his shop and that there was a miscommunication between the manager, technician, and myself.

Justin explained that after learning about the situation, and before I picked up the car, he personally looked at it and had the technician revisit the issue. He also said he tried calling me that day, but the call would not go through. I can confirm that my phone was having issues that day, so I have no reason to doubt that he attempted to contact me.

Justin told me he is working with his manager and technicians to make sure this type of situation does not happen again. He also offered me a free oil change because of what happened.

After speaking with Justin, I believe everything he told me. He came across as genuinely sincere and concerned about how his customers are treated. I declined the free oil change because I wasn't looking for something for nothing. What mattered to me was that he personally reached out, apologized, explained what happened, and is taking steps to correct it going forward.

I also want to apologize for being so harsh in my original assessment of the shop. At the time, I was frustrated with what happened and felt it needed to be said. Sometimes you have to speak up when you believe something wasn't handled correctly. At the same time, I think it's equally important to acknowledge when someone steps up, takes responsibility, and makes an effort to correct the situation.

Based on my conversation with Justin and how he handled the situation once he became aware of it, I would certainly give PW Auto Clinic another opportunity and visit the shop again. It says a lot about an owner when he is willing to personally address a problem rather than ignore it. In my opinion, Justin showed integrity and proved that he takes his business, his employees, and his customers seriously.”
