We always have a great experience at REI in Vernon Hills. The staff is knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. We shop here for athletic shoes and outdoor gear, and my husband recently bought a bike the service was amazing from start to finish.
We’re also REI members, and the member deals make it even better. The store is big, easy to shop, and has a great selection you can actually see and try on.”
“This location is my favorite of the few I’ve been to, and mostly because of the employees and how wonderful they have been every time I’ve been in!
This most recent visit brought me back 3 times, as I failed to try the items on the first day, returned a second to exchange one item, to then have to bring that second item back, a third time. This time I knew exactly what I needed as far as style and size, and all 3 times, Barbara was there, and smiling just as wide, and just as knowledgeable and kind each time! Came in searching for a replacement driver for an outing that was right around the corner. I was looking for a pre-owned club and while they didn’t have the largest selection (which is expected for women’s clubs) they had a few options. They have really great practice bays to try out clubs, they were very helpful in gauging my swing speed and putting me in the right club. I was impressed with their level of service and helpfulness (I had been into PGA superstore before this and received no where near the level of assistance).
The club was a good price based in online comps and I was able to get home and start practicing with it right away, which was great!
James was really nice and helpful, which I sincerely appreciate.
If you’re in the area and looking for some golf supplies, I’d highly recommend this Golf Galaxy.
