“First time stopping into Manlius Oil while in town for a track meet. I didn’t get gas, but the place was clean, the staff was super friendly, and the slices of cake they have are so good!”

“Nice lil station for a small town..you cant read the screen on the pumps tho. And many times you still need to go inside to get a receipt when you used your card at pump.”

“As I was driving north on an obscure road in Illinois a feeling of sudden hunger overcame me. I was just about to drive through the metropolitan area of Ohio, Illinois and against my better judgment pulled into the first place I found. " The Ohio Filling Station" was the name of this prestigious establishment. As I pulled in my first thought was "wow! I have never seen parking so close to the door, This is wonderful!". I parked my truck and I counted 7 steps to the front door. Upon entering the smell of small town living was highlighted in my nostrils and a sign caught my eyes about the card reader being broken and my purchase would have to be cash only. During my stop I figured I would use their bathroom which I found conveniently located at the back of the maze like isles. The single use-gender free bathroom door was also conveniently located next to the coffee maker which would be my next stop. After I entered the bathroom my nostrils were overtaken by new smell, A smell a plumber friend of mine would describe as "the smell of money". Searching for the light switch proved to be a daunting task. now with the lights on I could finally see the monstrosity before me. Clearly the man... or person seeing how the bathroom was gender neutral.. was sick with some sort of digestive shortcomings. I tried the flush the art before me and realized the toilet handle was barely operational. I exited the bathroom after leaving my mark and washing my hands( which are still wet due to the lack of paper towels). I picked up the coffee pot only to discover that the coffee must have been pushing 30 days in age. I decided to pass on my expected cup of joe and move to the counter to get some food instead. Once at the counter I found myself standing in front of what looked like a tanning bed for old food only to realize what I was looking at was delicacies of small town living. 3 dried up breakfast tornados at 1:30pm and mystery box with who knows what was inside. After careful review of my choices I decided I would rather die of starvation and find food at the next town up the road. Great experience! would recommend! Great Customer Service!”
