“I wish I could give 10 stars. Gil at the Lisle location is always awesome to work with. He is really friendly and also honest about what is going on with my vehicle. Rick at the DG location told me that I should take my car to the Hyundai dealership since I was likely a candidate for a free engine replacement under the 100K warranty. He was right- I got a whole new engine. I wouldn’t have done that if he hadn’t suggested that. All of the people I have dealt with at either location have been wonderful. Their prices are more than fair, and my oil changes never take more than 30 minutes. My husband and I are very loyal to them. Thank you guys!”
“Pat is amazing to work with! He helped me out in a pinch and was very kind and knowledgeable. I was getting ready to leave work when I noticed I had a flat— found myself at Nelson’s and Pat was there to assist me. While he changed my tire and placed my spare on, he informed me of everything he was doing, that way I know how to next time! “Nolte's is not your typical auto repair shop. They were able to diagnose and fix a very trouble some oil leak on my restored 1972 Chevy C10. I went to several other shops with no resolution. Very accommodating and professional. I have been looking for an auto repair like this and now I have found one. Mark is the best. “A 10/10 experience.Brought my truck in for a diagnosis on a pretty technical transmission issue. The shop was able to locate a very strong lead on what could be wrong with my transmission, and they were able to provide exact numbers.The service was extraordinary. As someone who has done nearly every bit of repairs and maintenance on their own vehicle, it’s hard to trust someone with your vehicle. Chris, the service writer at the front desk was a great guy. A lot of shops you go to, you get someone know it all guy who usually gives you attitude. Chris was definitely not that. I explained my issues and what I’ve done, and he took everything into consideration and listened to everything I said. The tech I talked to was also really respectful and nice as well.It’s usually hard to find a quality shop, so if you’re on the fence about kehoe auto, definitely come in.”
“I cannot say enough about the service I received here. It is increasingly difficult to find a mechanic with integrity and who will not take advantage that I'm a clueless car owner. Always takes the time to explain, walk through the issues and trouble shooting. Provides clear and consistent information, and even has informed me when no work was needed even though I was SURE it did. I will never take my car anywhere else and travel quite a bit to get there. “Saw an Ad for Comprehensive Auto during a Cubs game. I had just gotten a quote to replace the dashboard radio unit on our 2016 Sonata from the local dealer. They quoted us $1,200 but were offering 50% off so it would only cost $600. I called CAR and I walked through the specs and was quoted $285. NO Typo. It was less than half the dealer. Everyone who needs car repairs want three things. They want it done right, on time, and at a fair price. Comprehensive Auto Repair does this. Just make the call to them. It will be worth it. “This is my first time visit to this store. I found it based on the 5.0 rating from 200+ Google reviews. My experience proved that they really deserve the rating. I have a 25-year-old minivan with a recent engine oil leak. To solve the problem thoroughly, the gasket of oil pan needs to be replaced. The gasket itself is not very expensive, but the labor cost is much higher than the gasket because it takes much work to access and take out the oil pan. The total estimate is pretty high relative to the cost of the vehicle itself. I talked to Tim and found out an easy pragmatic way to stop the leak from outside without taking out the oil pan and replacing the gasket. The second option is $400+ cheaper. So I picked the second option. When I picked up the car, they found out that their technician already replaced the gasket. They still charged me the price of the second option. In addition, they found another problem resulted from a recent repair in another merchant. They are honest, trust-worthy, courteous, and professional, and their technical skills are versatile and accountable. I will go to them again whenever I have a need for vehicle maintenance and repair. I highly recommend them to anyone.”
“Very honest and trustworthy shop. Which is very hard to come by nowadays. Dealt with Brendan and Joe and they are very knowledgeable. I have a 2013 Infiniti SUV and had it at Infiniti Dealer twice and several Firestones.Brendan was able to make a recommendation that remediated my issues. Would highly recommend!”

“Took my subaru in for a clunking rattling noise. I feared it was a transmission or something drivetrain related. Nope it was just a bunch of frozen snow stuck in my heat shield, they also found a coolant leak and fixed it. Pg and gosia took care of me and were both very very nice. “I recently had Becker's do some work on my 2013 Audi A4 that the dealer recommended. I used Becker's because the procedure was well within their capacity. As when I had B's do work on my previous VW Passat, the work was done extremely well and the price was very fair! “Great experience. Had front and rear brakes done (pads and rotors). Price was less than what the dealer was going to charge. Making the appointment was super easy. They provided shuttle service to my home and picked me up when the car was ready. Service Advisors were excellent. Facility was very clean, waiting area/lobby was very nice. Everyone I encountered was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Car is running great.
