“I have had an on and off membership to this place and I have always experienced excellent staff and clean equipment. Mitchell is amazing and is a great reference when having any sort of question.”
“I’ve been coming to 10.40.10 fitness for over a year now. I came because a friend invited me, I stayed because the direction and guidance I received from coaches was nothing other than top-notch. Again today, I told my coach I’ve been out for a few days from lifting because I pulled a muscle in my back. Christie immediately pointed out what exercises might cause an issue and gave me modifications. She was spot on and the modifications helped immensely. The coaches are all so knowledgeable and helpful. ❤️”
“We visited the Barrington/Huntley area for a wedding and got to drop in CrossFit Barrington the morning of. It was a blast! Perfect Saturday morning workout before the festivities and everyone we met at the gym was super friendly and supportive. Should be your #1 stop if you’re in need of a good sweat while in town.”

“Great place. Just not for me. I did the “Reserve” semi-Private trial membership. The video assisted workout was kinda cool. To be honest, maybe I’m just old, but the volume and type of music played (too poppy and clubby) wasn’t the rock that I want when working out. Too heavy bass “spin class” for my Gen X, ex-jock meathead taste perhaps.?
I have a lot to work on. The trainers were very good at identifying the areas on which I need to focus. Good place. Just not exactly what I was looking for.”

“I am hooked on Burn Bootcamp LZ. Before coming to Burn I could never have imagined myself to be a "regular" at a gym and prioritize fitness and exercise into my routine. But Burn ignited my love for fitness. What initially drew me to this gym was the amazing music, the spring loaded floor, and the atmosphere. Plus the exercise routines are always different, and always challenging even as I have grown stronger. But what keeps me at Burn is the staff. As I got to know each trainer over the weeks and months, it became evident that they were more than just motivators; they were knowledgeable, well-educated professionals dedicated to ensuring not only my progress but also my safety. Their attention to detail, particularly in correcting form to prevent injury, is a testament to their expertise and care. But beyond their expertise, these trainers are just downright awesome. They're supportive, encouraging, and genuinely passionate about what they do.As someone who once struggled to integrate fitness into my routine, I can confidently say that Burn Bootcamp LZ has transformed my perspective on exercise. I've been a member now for about 3 years and have attended almost 500 camps. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned fitness enthusiast, this gym offers a welcoming space where everyone can thrive. I wholeheartedly recommend Burn Bootcamp LZ to anyone ready to embark on their fitness journey. To me, it's more than a gym, it's a community dedicated to helping you become the best version of yourself.”

“Great GYM. Been going for 4 weeks and I'm still really bad at most of the workouts. However the trainers remind me that everyone has their own journey. They are watchful and helpful. Despite being old and overweight I've already seen improvements in my strength. Can't wait to see what the next eight weeks brings. Amy and Terri rock. And Shannon is very encouraging.”
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I can’t say enough good things about Kevin! I came in struggling with persistent tennis elbow pain that was affecting my daily activities, and after just one session, I noticed a huge difference. Kevin used techniques that targeted the exact areas of tension. The massage relieved my pain and allowed me to play tennis again. I highly recommend Kevin. I have sent many of my friends to him already.”
“They are awesome with kids and developing swimming skills with my 5 year old. Can't wait to get my middle child in there soon as they are ready to take direction.”

“The cryotherapy was amazing!! Kyle is very knowledgeable and gentle,
made me feel fully at ease. I was a little nervous about the cold air but the second the blast touched my joints, relief washed over me. I had my whole back, Vagus nerve, and feet done and I can’t wait to do it again!”

“I have been training with SAA for about 10 years and it's brought me to be the healthiest and best version of myself. For years I did everything from different classes at other gyms, then CrossFit, then running, yoga and home gym workouts...after all that I finally found my gym 'home' and I couldn't be happier. My goals are addressed, my coaches are consistent with my training and checking in, and the vibe is just what I needed. So glad to be a part of this gym!”

“I love the way that this facility was laid out, and the staff works extremely nice and friendly. They weren't overly crowded and had enough of the machines that everyone frequently used. The only problem I have is I wish this facility was a little bit closer to my location and I would use it pretty much all the time!”
“My wife and I dropped into CFW while on vacation. The gym was very clean and organized. The members were very kind and welcoming. We were coached by the owner Mike, who gave us excellent pointers and made for a very enjoyable class. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town. Thank you for having us!”

“You can stop looking, this is the best gym in this area!! Huge plus that they are open 24/7.
My wife and I are spoiled gym wise and when we came to visit family in McHenry we were not going to take time off so we looked at all of the gyms here.
By quite some margin Fitness 120 is the nicest, cleanest and friendliest gym. All the equipment is new and really well maintained. The staff is sweet, kind and knowledgeable. You can't go wrong.”
“I've been attending CrossFit Lykos as a drop-in this week while I'm visiting family. Everyone there has been super friendly and encouraging. They have also been helpful giving advice on good form and scaling options.”
“I’m 3 weeks into my fitness journey with Burn and my only regret is that I waited as long as I did to get started! The team is awesome, energy is great, and there is a place for EVERYONE at any level of fitness. I would definitely recommend joining.”

“Suggestions: a larger sauna room because it can get packed sometimes, more open swimming lanes or another pool altogether; the pool has three open swim lanes & one walking lane. Make sure to check the schedule if the pool or court are open for use to the public. An additional hot tub or whirlpool with steam jets would be absolutely phenomenal. There are also no sleds or open artificial turf areas for certain exercises requiring extra space. This one certain rowing machine functions but it cannot play any of the fun game options (fixed on Feb 15, 2024).However, that being said, there are plenty of very high-quality pieces of exercise equipment including but not limited to: one full-sized basketball court that can be split by curtain into two arenas & used for four pickleball games at a time or any other sports/games. This first floor has two or so private or specialized group exercise rooms, a cozy sauna, six showers, and bring your own lock or use the super-convenient number pad lockers.Upstairs on the 2nd floor, there are three dumbbell racks that go from weights of 5 lbs up to 150 lbs, kettlebells go from 5 to 50 lbs, weighted medicine balls, varying stretch bands, many stationary bikes & treadmills, two stair masters, two squat racks (plus one squat-assist Smith machine), two bench presses, a three-lane track field, and any other equipment like the standard leg press, lat pull down machines, etc (because it's actually quite an extensive list). Almost two of each piece of equipment!Once the snow begins to melt away, will there be outdoor swimming lanes (to be determined)?Overall, this fitness center is very clean, modern, inclusive, comfortable, affordable, and has friendly or accommodating team members. Hopefully this review helps you make your decision ?”

“I have been taking Walk for Life with Bonnie since Fall 2011 and have recommended it to many friends. Bonnie makes the class fun with different music and you don;t realize how hard you are working. I am so disappointed when I am unable to attend. Look forward ti more sessions at Forest View.”
“Kilter is amazing. There is such a strong sense of community here. The programming is great and challenging, the coaches are fantastic and the members are all very inspiring and supportive. Couldn’t ask to be a part of a better group.”
“Coach Ark has been the best addition to my health and wellness journey! I have never been this fit in my entire life and I just turned 40 last month. The workouts always vary and he is always tracking my progress and upping the intensity just enough to ensure I am challenged but still staying healthy and not injuring myself. Coach Ark trains both my husband and I and we both love him so much! FEEL THE POWER!”

“I recently started going to this CrossFit gym, and I couldn't be happier with my experience so far. The coaches are incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, always pushing me to do my best. The community here is fantastic, and I've made some great new friends who motivate me to keep coming back. The workouts are challenging but incredibly effective, and I can already see improvements in my strength and endurance. I'm excited to continue my fitness journey at this gym!”

“Every summer when my family and I come back to Island Lake, one of the first things we do is head to Snap Fitness. It honestly feels like coming home. Jamie, Loreli, and the entire staff are just incredible—so friendly, welcoming, and always quick to get us set up in the system so we can jump right back into our routine without missing a beat.
What I love most about this place is how clean and well-kept everything always is. The equipment is up to date, the gym is spotless, and I genuinely feel safe and comfortable every time I walk in. It’s not just a gym—it’s a space that makes you feel cared for.
The pricing is also super reasonable for everything they offer, and whether you’re brand new to working out or someone who trains regularly, this gym has it all. The atmosphere is supportive, never intimidating, and the staff go above and beyond to make sure everyone feels seen and valued.
Thank you to Jamie, Loreli, and the whole Island Lake Snap Fitness team for always making us feel so welcome year after year. We absolutely love it here and can’t recommend it enough!”

“I attending a seminar here tonight that was led by Ben and it was so informative! I really enjoyed attending the seminar, which was geared towards longevity for endurance athletes. Ben was incredibly nice and friendly and an excellent teacher going over different topics and movements. He made it very fun. The gym was top of the line too and very well kept. So much nice equipment in there and also a whole turf area in the back. I definitely recommend to check them out!”

“I haven't experienced much of what this place has to offer yet. I went for my groupon deal for the infrared sauna. It was very nice and clean, but the girl at the front desk wasn't very helpful to a first timer. More direction/instruction would've been better.”
“I have worked with Paul for two years. This is a gift I give myself. As an older person, what I most appreciate about Paul is that each session is customized for me and where both my mind AND body are when I walk into the studio. This is not circuit training with sets and reps! Paul really focuses on a series of movements that work all major and minor muscle groups. It is not monotonous or boring. Although there are some machines, the majority of training involves resistance bands, balance and using the body as the weights. Because it doesn't involve machines, it is easy to replicate most of the exercises at home with free weights and resistance bands. He brings years of experience to challenge and improve the health of any body, no matter the age or condition.”
“Kayla is an amazing coach and mentor for my daughter. She gives her amazing workouts but also has helped her make tough decisions regarding her athletic career. She gives amazing perspective & practical advice and challenges her beyond the game. Thank you Coach Kayla!”
“Just joined after moving to the area over the summer. The staff keep the place clean & organized. The group classes are structured in a methodical and orderly manner lead by enthusiastically motivated trainers. The front desk staff are communicative and knowledgeable of the business.Only downside is They have lockers & cubbies for storing your stuff. They could probably have more lockers and less cubbies.”
