“They had what I needed for a reasonable price. I often give the customer service here, 5 stars, but 2 things took away from that.
My dude, J, at the reg was trying to give great service, jumping on the phone for, assistance, not just feeding us excuses.
The cashier, J, told the customer in front of me and the helper in the phone, we didn't have singles to give change. Too many retail places, are quickening the closing process by dropping change & bills early. I deserve the same customer service any time during hours. 2nd thing, cashier started network problems delayed transaction with loyalty program. Again, I'd still give you my loyal business, cuz I appreciate your wisdom & prices.
Sidenote: Google Maps suggested I go to O'Reilly's down the road, because their string online presence showed their hours... Idk. I came to my new, local AutoZone.”

“Was taking family members to O'Hare to catch a flight. 40 miles from airport and 100 miles from home, the oil pressure light came on in my 2002 Volkswagon Eurovan. Googled and called Sunset and spoke to Armando. He said bring it in and he will look at ASAP. Mechanic Joe diagnosed the problem. Oil pressure was OK, but the sensor is bad. They would have to order part, which my time frame did not allow. Armando said it is fine to drive, replace the sensor when you get back home. Was back on the road in 20 minutes. If you are looking for auto service to be done in the Waukegan area, give Sunset a call. Armando, Joe, and Nani.....lady at front desk were absolutely awesome. Good honest people. “classic auto body in waukegan took my poor, mangled car which looked like it lost a bar fight with a semi and made it look so fresh i half expected it to start asking for modeling contracts. the crew here clearly knows their stuff. they’re like car surgeons, except with less beeping machines and more “don’t worry, we got this.” i dropped it off looking like a craigslist “project car” and picked it up looking like it just rolled out of a showroom. bonus points for not judging me when i explained how the damage happened. (yes, a shopping cart was involved. yes, it was going suspiciously fast.) they just smiled, nodded, and went to work like it was nothing.”

“Picture this : You’re traveling around the country following a race series. Your team and car are in the #1 spot for their championship, and then you break down 2 hours from the track you are racing at the Next morning. Not to mention you need to get back to Maryland after the race.
That is what happened to us, but luckily I broke down close to LBM. Not only did they have all the parts I needed but he was super helpful on bandaging the trailer together with me to help us get to Road America.
We ended up winning our race that weekend , and the trailer made it all the way back to Maryland.

The guys did an exceptional job, it looks like they detail cleaned it with a brush and terminal cleaner then sprayed a protectant on it afterwards. Battery is securely mounted.
