“This is the best shop in Chicago! I have taken my Mercrdes-Benz to this shop since I moved to the city in 2021 and have had excellent, knowledgeable service every single visit. Today was especially wonderful as I blew out a tire and had suspension damage in Evanston on Ridge Rd. constructuon and need to be back out on the road. In by 8 out by 1:30! Hooray!!”
“The Countryside Enterprise location treated me extremely well. It was my 1st time booking through Expedia so I didn’t know what to expect but I was pleasantly surprised to by the ease of the process. The entire rental and insurance was handled through Expedia so all I needed to bring was my DL and Debit card. They took a $300 deposit and I had to show the insurance documents. I worked with Daniel Burchsted who was quite literally the best Enterprise employee I’ve worked with! He was very helpful, prompt and knowledgeable. He ushered me to a brand new car, helped me set up Bluetooth, & did thorough inspection of the car with me. The whole process took about 10 minutes or less! This location also let me return the vehicle after hours in the Dropbox. All in 10/10 experience, I will be renting from the Countryside location again hopefully I’ll get to work with Daniel too.”

“The Lombard Enterprise location is our go to place for local car rentals. In the past we used miscellaneous car rentals n the area, but since Jacob has been the manager here we have had amazing service and don't think of going anywhere else. I have an issue with fragrances and somehow he manages every time to provide me with a car that has no air freshener smell. We are waited on quickly and courteously, unlike previous experiences. The cars are in great condition. We are hooked.”

“I needed a rental for a family outing. I made the reservation 2.5 weeks in advance. I rented a large suv that could seat 7 people. The day before the rental date I got a call for confirmation. When I went to pick up the rental they didn’t have a large suv available. They had a minivan available which I ended up taking and they dropped the price for my inconvenience but it was just frustrating since I made the reservation 2.5 weeks in advance.”

“Great service when I needed help in a pinch. Check-in was great, and Jonathon gave me his card in case I needed help when I had little margin for error. His car says Trainee but he was a pro. My return team on Monday was also great, including a smart intern. This experience made me want to go exclusively Enterprise for rentals.”

Having had bad experiences with other car rental companies, I recently rented a car and was fortunate enough to be assisted by Ali, whose service exceeded my expectations from start to finish. He ensured that the entire rental process was clear and stress-free. Ali’s nature made it easy to feel confident in the car rental process, which was much appreciated as I’m not a frequent renter.
Partway through my trip, I experienced a minor issue with the initial car(a Kia Sorento). I called Ali, and he responded with remarkable understanding and speed. Without any hassle, he arranged a replacement vehicle for me(Jeep Cherokee), ensuring it was a step up from the original car. Ali’s approach to customer satisfaction turned a potential inconvenience into a smooth and positive experience.
When it came time to return the car, Ali once again provided exceptional service. Ali’s level of service was truly refreshing, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a rental car.”
“Friendly guys and easy process, and it's about 200 bucks cheaper than renting at O'Hare. They also drove my wife and I back to the airport after we returned the rental, no charge or anything. Can't think of any reason to rent from anyone else other than these guys if you're flying into O'Hare.”
“They gave me a car that smelled like cigarette smoke and mentioned that it is already in their system. This was the only mid sized car they had and we needed one so we took it. Fast forward to return time and I get a letter stating that the car smells and that they will charge me for it. This location does not answer their phones and return calls to rectify this issue. I will not be renting with Avis again.
Edit: I was able to get in touch with the location and they were able to help me out. 4 stars!”
“We had some changing rental car needs (before, during and upon returning the car). The manager and others working here were extraordinarily helpful, efficient and accommodating. We liked our car (Kia Soul), which met all our needs. The car rental agency is actually inside the Hyatt Regency hotel, which was a little confusing at first.”

“Great service and great vehicles. I dealt with Edgar, the manager, and he is also the one that has to clean the cars. It’s a one man shop. A+ experience. Only complaint is to Hertz as a company - give this man some help. It’s ridiculous that they make one man do 100% of everything and then you go to other locations and they have way more staff than they could ever need. Thanks Edgar!”

“Good God, after being told I was to have a Lexus SUV at Plainfield but after arriving received a Jeep Compass with an engine problem, I returned to this Downers Grove location.. and they did NOT disappoint!! Was given a Ford Edge SEL AWD and it WAS the BEST rental I've EVER had.. truly.
Only wish I could have bought it at the end! This location is very professional and apt to the professional class, very nice to see.
